I hate shopping at this location! I walked in with my 1 year old son and sister and was not greeted by anyone even though there were 5 people in the front of the store. I proceeded to shop and as soon as the woman with the hijab saw me she turned around spoke with a coworker then proceeded to follow me around the store. She continued to do this for 5-10 minutes until I finally started staring at her following me and that's when I was finally spoken to with an "are you finding everything ok?" I said yes and immediately walked out because I felt uncomfortable. I'm a former employee and I know that is not how you do customer service. I had a friend who had the exact same experience with the same woman. I'm not sure if she thought I was stealing but I wasn't even touching any products and I had a mesh purse and tight dress on so I couldn't conceal anything. Also one of the workers on the register had on jean shorts that were really short. This location is very unprofessional!

Every time I frequent this place the customer service is lower than low. I spend too much money here to deal with such disgusting behavior. Will be shopping at Sephora exclusively going forward.

first im a very anxious person when shopping i am african american young woman so that always been handicap when shopping they had one person almost watching me standing in the isles over trying to watch me i got the register when blame didn’t even make eye contact or anything i asked a question and answered like i was bothering her came to this one because memphis have little to products but i didn’t feel comfortable shopping here

They didn't give us our change. Had to go all the way back and wait for them to verify we aren't conning them out of $9. They wouldn't give us anything for our trouble.

I like ulta, I really do but the employees at this location are not any I would want to do business with. Walking around as a person of color and being stared at without acknowledgment should not be happening and is completely unacceptable. Instead of causing a fuss, I just politely decided to leave and take my business elsewhere, where I’m respected as a human. Do better!

Absolutely horrible customer serviceI went to the OB ulta for my Tula products. No one was in line at the register. The service rep. Diamond was at the cash register. He did not look up from their personal phone when I greeted him with a “hello, how are you?”. I assumed maybe he did not hear me. I waited 2 minutes and he looked up at me and then resumed to look back down at his phone. I asked if he was too busy and if I needed to ask someone else to assist me. He did not respond. He then began to ring up my items. I had gift cards. I went to swipe the gift card and there was a “pin entry” prompt. I asked for assistance and he stated that I did it incorrectly, after I had already asked for the appropriate PIN number. I then asked him to cancel the transaction because he was still on his phone and to go get a manager. The manager, Vikki, returned to the register, after I had requested an additional sales rep to assist me with my purchase. Vikki asked if there was anything she could do. When i told her about Diamonds refusal to look up from his phone or acknowledge that he had a customer, Diamond began to yell and disagree with my statements. Vikki dismissed him and proceeded to tell me about their gift card offerings and ask if I had ever shopped at this location before. She never justified Diamond’s actions. She remained non-empathic. She was not a help and neither was Diamond. It was a perfect example of disregard for customers. I will not be going to this Ulta ever again, and corporate should review this scenario. Leaders should support their customers as well as their staff. Staff should support the customer.

The reason Im giving my store a 2 is because the cashier at the register was rude. Just rude. My over all visit was nice. I found exactly what I was looking for. The young ladies on the floor was very helpful just the one at register was awful.

My 1st time in Ulta & Judith is a great sales person. I Was looking for a new perfume, she listened to what type of fragrance I wanted & helped me find the right one. I complemented her skin, because it's radiant & she showed me the product she uses. I bought The Ordinary also. Thanks Judith, it's hard to find good customer service These days.
