“I lived here last year and I had a mixed experience. They were called college town then. The homes are nice and the walls aren’t super thin like apartments can be. But you can still hear sound. If you are in the downstairs bedroom you WILL hear footsteps or things getting dropped by the roommate above you.
Considering that most rooms (I stayed in the 5 bedroom) are upstairs the downstairs roommate hears a lot of noise also from the living room and kitchen. And you’ll have to go upstairs to do your laundry.
This was a total party neighborhood, so if you need quiet a lot, I don’t recommend it.
The WiFi is not super slow in my experience which is good. I liked the patio it was quite nice and the amenities are great. Private study rooms, golf simulator, huge pool, basketball court etc. Also, this place has a very nice 24/7 gym. There is a bus stop that takes you to campus as well, one of my favorite features.
For my biggest complaint: cleanliness I mentioned earlier this neighborhood is a party town, broken bottles are everywhere and they often don’t get picked up for minimum an entire week. Be cautious if you have a dog, there’s a lot of dangerous stuff for them to step on or eat, broken glass mainly. The dumpsters are just not enough for all the residents. They are often overfilled, even the stairs are covered in trash-bags, making it impossible to properly throw your trash away. It smells so far, it travels to the houses nearby. This was the main complaint.
Also, management and maintenance were issues. We had a problem with our washer and had to wait nearly 2 months for it to be resolved. That was 2 months of having to go to a friends house or pay money at a laundromat to have my laundry done. Maintenance came 3 times with weeks in between before they finally bought a new one. Luckily, they DID NOT try to charge us for it, we had just moved in.
Besides those main issues, this place is very nice, and I recommend it.”
“This place is absolutely beautiful! Lot of space for kids to play. And lots of grass to walk your dogs. Very quiet community. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.”
