DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! A simple bumper fix turned into over a month long fix of being in the shop. During this month: several techs quit, they had their one painter out for weeks, And no phone calls of updates. Poor place of business to shop with or work for

Tana Ward is the estimate writer at Desota Collision Center. She is very professional, courteous, and keeps you informed throughout the process. I could not have asked for better service from the entire staff. In addition, the repair work on my vehicle was excellent! Don’t waste your time anywhere else. These people are great!Services: Painting

I hit a deer at night, damaging the front drivers side of my car. Needed a new hood/headlight/ fender/bumper cover and half of the 2 piece grill. My insurance estimated $6,900 to repair and gave me the ok to get it fixed at the shop of my choice.I went to desoto collision center in oxford and was given a booking for March 15th (5 weeks wait). I drove my 2014 mkz there on March 15th and handed over the key. Estimated repair time 10 days, went from DCC to enterprise, and picked up a rental car.Communication from DCC was sporadic and usually initiated by me emailing for updates. They had my car for just over 7 WEEKS , upped the repair cost with "supplementary" claims to almost $10,000 and when I finally collected the car on my way to work I had to pay them my $250 deductible before they released the car to me. I drove straight to work in Memphis, and it was dark when I got off work, so I instantly noticed that my headlights were way off the correct aim. New headlight high old headlight low.The next morning , in daylight, I decided to see if a simple adjustment would correct the aim of my headlights. When I opened the hood, the first thing I noticed was a yellow chalked ID number from a junk yard on the "new" headlight! Then I noticed the "new" hood was also USED and repainted! It is also missing its insulator pad and front weather strip, rubber bump stops and ALL the clips, etc, that should have held the pad and weather strip in place. Also noticed that a dust cap was missing from an A/C service valve, positive terminal insulator was slid down the battery cable and the whole engine bay looks like the car was parked outside with no hood while a mower blew a dust storm over it. By now, I was pretty mad that a "reputable" body shop would release a vehicle in such a state!.I closed the hood and took my first hard look at the repair job.The "new" hood is aligned so badly that it is rubbing the paint off the passenger fender front corner. The panel gaps are terrible all around the hood/bumper cover and fenders. Most of the plastic rivets that hold the drivers wheel well splash guard in place are missing completely! All 4 wheels lost the valve caps, and the tire pressures read from 28psi down to 10psi (they were all at the correct 36psi the morning I delivered the car to DCC)There is also a new chip on the top of the passenger front fender that was not there before (guessing the "new" hood or a tool was dropped on it).So in short, they took over 7 weeks for a 10 day repair, used junk yard parts and charged almost $10k only to deliver a VERY poorly repaired car and had the nerve to require me to pay the $250 deductible before giving it back to me (on top of the almost $300 I had to pay for excess car rental due to the length of time DCC had my car).Personally speaking, I would STRONGLY advise anyone against using this shop.myself My family will NEVER use them again!

I gave this business three stars mainly because of the front office ladies they were very professional, knowledgeable, and communicated with me every step of the way. The repairs to my car were minor but still took and extra week to complete. As for the actual repairs they did a decent job but I did have to return the car to have them to correct one of their repairs. They also left loose screws under my hood and scratched the tint on the driver's side window.

My daughter had an issue with her window not rolling up on 11-18 when it was raining of course. We called around and took a chance on a collision repair place, because everyone else was booked. She called me after and said the employees were very polite and put a special covering over her window (all she had on it was a an old poncho). They also ordered the part for her and will hopefully have it fixed before the holiday break. Thank you for treating my 19 yr. old daughter with respect and not like someone who doesn't know anything about cars.Service: Body & Trim

If I could give them zero stars I would. Seemed great in the beginning. Told me the repair would take about 5-7 days. Called me about 3 days in and said all parts were received and my truck would be ready. The day before pick up, I called and was told there was "issues" and it would be another week. I inquired more and eventually they owned up and said it was nothing with my truck, but "internal issues." Another week passed and the truck was still not ready. Told it would be another week and they admitted they put another car in front of mine! Well, now it has been a month since I gave them my truck and it is still not ready. I've been in a rental car for a month. My repair wasn't a huge accident repair. It was a small dent on the tailgate and the rear quarter panel. A month later and having been lied to twice, I wouldn't trust them. Even the rental car place said they are used to them telling people a week and it turning into a month. So be prepared!! I could understand if it was a parts delay, but it wasn't the case.
