Please disregard my previous comments about Jamison Auto Group being a great group of folks. I took my Classic 69 Chevelle to them trusting that they knew what they were doing. I was in town for Cruising the Coast and was in need of a new alternator. I called my mechanic in my hometown and he stated to me that any good mechanic should be able to handle the repair and as it was a basic repair. Jamison Auto Group we went to Jamison Auto Group and explained the problem and relayed what our mechanic conveyed to us. Low and behold shortly after picking the car up we noticed Clue # 1 the wiring to the alternator was melting and burned up. We took it immediately back to Jamison Auto Group and they stated they had put the wrong gauged wiring on the car. We get back home and a short time later Clue #2 the volt meter was never below 16 and then later Clue #3 heard a chirping from the alternator fan belt and discovered it was very loose. We immediately took the car to our normal mechanic and he advised us that the alternator was the wrong one for the car. My mechanic fixed the issue after another $825 cost to us and said he was surprised that there was no other damage to the car as having the wrong alternator could have burned up all the electrical wiring not to mention caused other damage. Clue #4, I called Jamison Auto Group multiple times and never received a call back. I finally talked to Jamie when he was the one to answer the call. Clue #5 I explained what had transpired and he refused to accept any responsibility and put the blame and responsibility totally onto us and said he just put the alternator you wanted me to put on it and its not the one that he would have personally put on it. I explained to him that I was not a mechanic and trusted him as the mechanic would put the right alternator on it and he never conveyed he would not have put that one on. I explained to him that I expect a mechanic to advise me. I asked Jamison Auto Group if they would at least be willing to buy back the brand new wrong alternator from me, Jamie refused and stated that he only put the alternator that I told him to put on it. I Jamie and Jamison Auto Group are extremely unprofessional and clearly do not stand behind their work, they clearly do not know what they are doing and they expect their customers to tell them the right parts to put on cars. All I was expecting back was for them to buy back the alternator at a reduced cost so I could recover some of my costs but they would not even do that, shame on Jamie and Jamison Auto Group. Maybe Jamison Auto Group should stick to European Cars to work on as they clearly have no clue had to work on basic good old American made classic cars.

I received a 30yr Mercedes W140 and was up in the air as where to take it. It was my lucky day when I saw his shop online. I needed my trunk repaired so it would close all the way. I told him while that while it was there to please look it over and do what it needed. After he completed my car. It us running like a new car. I'm pleased to report that i have found a shop for my mercedes. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone who needs a great mechanic for their car especially their foreign car.. the price was reasonable for the work performed.

Very pleased with the service I received. Brought my ‘03 Jaguar in for A/C work. Jamie’s crew was quick to respond and provided a diagnosis the same day. My car was ready within 8 days, which broke all turn around records of all other auto shops on the Gulf Coast I have ever taken this car to. I didn’t need it, but they have a comfortable waiting room if you need somewhere to kill some time while your car is being attended to. Most importantly, it’s been a few months since my visit and my A/C is still blowing arctic temps, which is not common with vintage Jaguars. I will not hesitate to return to Jamison with future needs. Thank you Jamie.

Jamison's solved a significant problem that two other local garages could not fix. They charged a fair price, got the job done in two days and communicated on several occasions so that we would know what was going on. We could not be happier with Jamison's. We strongly recommend this business for automotive repair.

We come back yearly to Gulfport and stop in just to say hi and have a cup of coffee. Jamie treated us like family from day one. We were strangers to the area and we were so glad we called Jamison Auto. Honest people and always do a great job with our cars.
