“Today I had a wonderful shopping experience at Factory Connection on Highway 42 in Petal, Mississippi, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize the excellent customer service I received.
When I entered the store, I was warmly greeted by Kimberly, who immediately showed kindness, professionalism, and courtesy. Her demeanor was respectful and welcoming, and I noticed that she treated every customer with the same level of attentiveness and dignity regardless of background, disability, ethnicity, or appearance. That kind of consistency in customer service is rare and very much appreciated.
I am currently recovering from serious injuries sustained in a car accident and attend physical therapy next door at Elite for a knee injury, broken hip bone fragments, and a concussion. While shopping, I began experiencing pain from my injuries. Kimberly showed genuine compassion and allowed me to sit down and rest until I regained enough strength to comfortably leave the store. She was patient and kind, and I truly appreciated that she did not rush me or make me feel uncomfortable because of my disability.
As a mother, I enjoy being able to shop for both my children and myself in one place. During my visit, I purchased a set of bracelets for my daughter along with a matching set for myself, as well as boxers for my son. I also look forward to returning soon to shop for Easter outfits for my family to wear to church.
The store itself is very well organized and stocked with a wide variety of merchandise, including spiritual apparel, sports apparel, jewelry, lingerie, men’s and women’s undergarments, jeans, and name brands such as Nike and Guess. They also carry shoes for many occasions for toddlers, children, and adults. Everything was neatly arranged and easy to locate.
One moment that meant a lot to me personally was when I noticed a pink bracelet set on display that reminded me of one I had previously lost during a very difficult time in my life while recovering from domestic violence that resulted in me being displaced from my home of nearly 14 years. The item was placed high on a display where I could not safely reach it due to my injuries. Kimberly kindly retrieved it for me so I could purchase it. That simple act of kindness made me feel seen and valued as a customer.
Overall, I had a very positive experience. The store was well stocked, the environment was welcoming, and Kimberly’s professionalism and compassion truly stood out.

“It's been a while since I've shopped at Cato but when I went in today I only looked around for a minute knowing what I came in for and an employee asked if I needed help. When I told her what I was looking for she pointed me in the right direction and her first choice on the color & kind of dress I was looking for is what I walked out with. I'm very happy with her help!”
