Received a text at 2:30 from CVS stating that a prescription had been ordered and would be notified when it was ready. At 1:00 the next day I drove up to a stressed out technician and asked for an update on my prescription. I was told that the order was under "pending status" when asked what that meant, she replied that she didn't know. I then asked her when could I pick up my prescription and she replied to come back at 3:00. I came back at three and asked for my prescription. Someone else in the background said it wasn't ready and she didn't know when it would be ready. So I then reminded the technician at the window that she TOLD me to come back at 3:00. Talk about a meltdown. She went on a rampage about how she should never tell customers a time because she would be held accountable. (Maybe she should say "I don't know when it will be ready). I was then told it would be another 30 minutes. I asked to speak with an manager. I was then threatened that if I didn't move along she would call the police. In fact she had called the police the day before as another customer refused to move. (I wonder what happen in that situation). I told her that I was coming in to speak with the manager by the time I got to the register (about 10 minutes later) my prescription was ready to be picked up. (Miracle) This CVS store is clearly understaffed. The fact that they are means the current employees are stressed and feel like no matter how rude or how obnoxious they treat the customer they are untouchable. Rude staff, lousy service.

If I could I would not put a star at all. I work in a providers office and have for 7 years at the same location. I deal with pharmacy calls and issues all day long! I speak with different pharmacies about medications and refills and never in my life have I ever experienced anyone more rude then the Pharmacist there at cvs in picayune. I never catch her name because never says it and she hangs up on you before you can attempt to get it before your call has even ended!! I called today to see about getting a script filled for myself not as a provider and she treated me the exact same way! I truly don't know how she even still has a job! All I can say is if you are that Miserable doing your job and what you do you need to find another field I wanna work because you were awful at what you do now and I would never treat anyone the way you do! Oh and if I may add I don't use CVS pharmacy because I choose to I have to because of my insurance. There's only one other choice and it's Walmart and I don't have a drive-through. But I will be changing to Walmart and walking in there with a smile on my face.

One can only think that the horrendous rude and unprofessional behavior comes from the top. I have experienced two techs that have argued with me in trying to pick up my scripts. Text says ready but not then tell you to come back another day. Then schooled that I must not have communicated correctly to staff for reason it is wrong. Overcharged overpriced and rude. Miss Winn Dixie. They were nice and cared. Will move scripts. Location is not worth the lack of kindness or professionalism.

Small but have many items and different things . Never had a problem there, staff was friendly and helpful, its just a little pricey. Watch the sales.
