We came to this adorable little country restaurant for breakfast. The owner was the only one on service and she was super attentive and quick to get orders. We ordered your typical diner breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The sweet tea was on point. It's nice to have a real homemade sweet tea. The breakfast was fresh and seasoned good. We were treated with great southern hospitality and it was nice to be greeted by all the towns patrons when they came in. The cafe looks like an old wooden cabin. Reminds me of Virginia city. This was a great hidden gem. We will be back tomorrow as we are in town for a couple days.

Is service is bad took a long time for us to get our food. When the food did come it was bad my baked tater was on 25% tater the rest barbecue sauce. The thing that was the best was to eat ambiance, there was a bunch of cool decorations and the cups had decoration on them too.

If you're in the area, check them out. The food is always good and prices are fair.Parking: The parking is a little tight up front but sometimes I park behind the building.

Friendly service that's out of the way from the interstate. Great country cooking food. If you are on 55 in north Mississippi, go there.

We went to the Pope Country Café one morning for breakfast while camping at one of the campgrounds at Enid Lake. We chose to sit at a booth (we were there with another couple) and were promptly waited on and were brought the beverages we chose (coffee mostly). I ordered Big Daddy's breakfast (3 eggs, scrambled, bacon, sausage, grits, hashbrowns, biscuits and side of red-eye gravy). My wife ordered the oatmeal with a side of scrambled eggs. Our friends both ordered the Western omlette, each with their own customizations. Everyone's food came out hot and was delicious. The staff were all very attentive, friendly and talkative, although not overly so. We sat at our table for well over an hour, visiting with each other. The café was not noisy at all and we enjoyed our time. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at the Café and will likely be back to enjoy lunch or dinner one evening while camping at Enid Lake. Don't forget to get a picture on the HUGE rocking chair in front of the café.

Definitely a hidden gem. Best food we’ve had in years. The closest thing you’ll get to grandmas cooking with the perfect touch of southern hospitality. Family owned restaurant.
