Deer meat was to dry and mild spice was hot tried cooking it different ways and still came out dry even gave some away and thoese people could not get it moist I boiled it steam it and fryed it still dry. I ask for pork to be put in it so it would not be dry but still is dry. Still have 6packs I will trow away .wasted 103.dollars never again

Great service, great pricing.First time bringing a hog to slaughter.They made the process easy and stress free. The helpful folks of Stevens Packing made it simple for a first-timer to figure out how he wanted his meat processed. Everything professionally packaged and labeled. You have not had pork chops till you have eaten fresh, farm raised pork chops.Will be raising another pig this spring and definitely bringing it here.

They did a great job on my calf, everything was done in a timely manner and a great price. My only complaint is that i did not receive my tripe off the calf (even though I asked for it )

I had two pigs processed and asked for the fat left over to make into lard. My pork chops were nothing but fat. My sausage was mostly fat. I didn't even ask for this sausage... I wanted ground pork. I have never received such poor service from this facility.

We asked for a double grind on our cow. We definitely only got one. The tendons left and the giant pieces of grissle were a nightmare and for $250 it was a giant waste of money we didn't have. We completely ruined a gigantic pot of soup, my little brother, who got some, ruined a giant pot of spaghetti. I can't speak on their sausage, which so many reviewers rave about, maybe they don't ruin pigs, but don't take your cow there.
