I have been a long term customer, and have lived in the area for several years. I shop at the store about 4-5 times a week! I recently purchased dog food that had mold on it and went to return it. The same young lady that was behind the register that rung us up for the dog food less than 24 hours ago was the same young lady that was behind the register at this moment. As she was about to assist me the manager walked up and said the return policy is if you don’t have a receipt you cannot exchange or receive an refund for your purchased item.) the store “manager” looked at me with a grin on her face and walked off. The manager was rude and not very customer service friendly. We live in a digital world where there are other ways to show proof of purchases other than paper receipts. WORSE DOLLAR GENERAL EVER!! Keep up with your paper receipts you never know when you’ll have to return some moldy dog food.🤦🏽♀️

I bought my dog some kibble from this store LAST NIGHT. Just to open it this morning and find out that the kibble has mold. I have tried to call the store just to get no answer. This is disgusting!

A young man upfront at the register this morning was so friendly & let me know about deals regarding the store. I appreciate his good energy and attitude. Overall, I go to this store all the time and have had a nice experience.

I went to the the dollar general store and got some cereal got home opened them and wondered why they looked like an ashy color checked the date and it was November of 2023 now that’s a shame.

Supposed to stay open until 10 but the past 4 times I’ve gone they were closed 30/45 minutes early. Guy locking the door at 9:27 said we close at 9:30 when on the door it says 10:00. I said it says 10:00 and he goes oh well the system is down. But I just saw customers walk out with bags so that was a lie. They all should get fired and hire people who can work the hours they are suppose to and not be so lazy and worthless

Really not hard to get a manager when you can’t do your job! Never in my life have I come in and someone tell me I can’t reload a card because they are too stupid to do it. I nicely asked for a manager and the said no. Will not be back. Rude

These lint rollers work every bit as well as the 3M ones do and they're only a dollar!! Got the little duster thing for a dollar too. It works great for dusting the touchscreen part of my dash and without changing any of the settings !! Highly recommend both products

I went to dollar general at 7 today. Hwy 51 close to Lake harbor. The worker was at the door and wouldn't let us in. Said it was closed. Online it says it's open until 10!!! Let the black lady in right behind us. It's on dollar general I will never spend a dollar there again and never stop until they close down. ?
