I recently found myself in need of a tetanus shot and decided to just walk in to the Kroger pharmacy on Old Canton Rd. It was midday, so they were quite busy, but I was able to speak with someone within ten minutes or less. There was a short form to fill out and we discussed insurance. The wait time was thirty minutes, which gave me the opportunity to do some grocery shopping, before being called to return to the pharmacy. While in the exam room, the pharmacist mentioned that they have a mobile vaccination clinic available, which is an amazing service. If a church or organization reaches out, they can organize an event for their members. Kroger pharmacy takes preventive care very seriously. I plan to continue using this place as a preferred pharmacy and I highly recommend it to others.

Very knowledgeable staff and friendly- they took very good care of me a couple of years ago when I thought I might be having a heart attack- called 911 and first responders were there immediately!

The customer service at this Kroger pharmacy is terrible. They’ve never been rude, but they don’t appear to be competent. A staff member told me they had not received any of my mother’s prescriptions a few weeks ago while their own automated telephone system indicated she had nine prescriptions ready for pickup. There’s always some issue with picking up her prescriptions. Today I was told I could not pick up a glucose monitor her doctor prescribed with a years worth of refills, despite having received one three weeks ago from the same employee that would not provide her glucose monitor refill today.

This pharmacy is wonderful. I give them plenty of time to get my prescription filled and let them text me when it’s ready. I actually follow up with my doctor that the rx has been sent. So I get in and get out. Occasionally there is a wait, but I have confidence my rx is ready.I believe the unsatisfied reviewers do not understand that employees of a large company (corporation) are at the mercy of the company to perform with what they are given (tight metrics, impossible metrics, detailed computer systems, and x amount of tech hours determined by, again, company metrics)!! Then when you come in demanding your way and want your meds quickly because of a “walk-up” or “drive-through”. Or get angry because they go to lunch? What do you think your health and health service is? Fast food? Have some patience and grace. Walk around the store and get your grocery shopping done, and don’t wait until the last minute to get your prescription. Check to make sure YOUR doctor did send it first before going there. Schedule your shot online. Call them to make sure they have it. Do your part. Again it’s not fast food. And if you think you’re still right, at least extend some patience and grace!!

In the last 8 months pharmacy has dramatically changed. Pharmacist and some of staff are just rude. The only thing I do like is that they accept a particular rx program. But I have decided a few $ isnt worth the hassle every month. Used them for 20 years and was told i had no loyalty for getting a med at another Kroger, I55 had been out 4 months consecutively. Bye bye.. grr

Krogers is my favorite place to shop for grocery but for the pharmacy; it’s a lil shaky; the people are not so friendly.. I know different kinds of people with different types of attitudes shops there and dealing with the public can be tough but at least acknowledge SMILE!!

Tony at the Pharmacy-since your pharmacy is offering the booster shot, make yourself familiar with the guidelines and who is eligible. As a consumer/patient wanting one, I did that research by following the link on your Kroger website sign up!! So it is really frustrating to wait 30 minutes for you to determine I am eligible, which I already knew. You and your staff wouldn’t listen or look at the information I found on the CDC website, via your sign up page. Also what is the point of an appointment if people are waiting in access of an hour? I understand Covid And vaccines are fluid but customer service is not. Do better, please!

My favorite pharmacy, me and my family have been picking up our Rx here for almost 10 yrs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable at this location. I refuse to move my Rx to a Kroger closer to where I live because I prefer this one!

The employees here don’t want to do their jobs. Today at 1 pm the woman behind the counter told me that GoodRX ‘wasn’t working because of the storm’. Yet GoodRX has emailed me before and after with typical promotions. I have waited up to 45 minutes to have standard discounts applied. My prescription costs 8 dollars but when I come to the Old Canton Kroger Pharmacy I have to convince whoever is there not to charge me 14. OVERPRICED AND RUDE. Time to fire your staff and get some people who actually want their jobs.

I had to sit there for over 30 minutes before they told me they didn't have my prescription. At that time the doctors office was closed.
