The dirtiest hotel I've been in. You can see that the room hasn't been properly cleaned in months. There's dirt everywhere you look and touch. Showers with mold and grime, traces of leftover food on the floor, all little corners full of dirt. It feels like you are sleeping in a gas station bathroom. The side door is always open, so anyone can just walk in directly to the rooms. And you see some characters walking around shirtless around the hotel lobby and hallway.

Traveling thru decide to stop after leaving casino heading back home. Price was ok. 1st room key didn't work went to desk 3 times. They checked the room clearly someone had been in it. They move us to another room. Very bad smell, very outdated,no trash can, TV had dots in screen which made it not suitable to watch,bathroom had cigarette burns everywhere, oh we had to take towels to cover pillows because hair was on pillows, no smoke alarm, ice bucket but no cups

The customer service was the only good thing at this hotel even when we went to the front desk to let them know we would not be staying and would like our money back. I was traveling with a friend, my room had mold and her room had bugs. We were made to sign that we wouldn’t smoke however the hallways smelled of smoke.

My Husband, myself and our 2 best friends went to Tunica Ms for Memorial day weekend, we stayed at the Surestay by Best western, but NEVER again!! To start, we arrived at 4:22pm to check in, check in time 3pm, Bernice never greeted us, she was on her cell phone, we said we had a reservation, I told her my name, and she says, your room not ready! I said I paid for TWO rooms, she then says, well, only one ready, I said, ok can we check in and put our stuff in there, she said, come back in 30, ummmm, what!?!?!?!? It's 1.5 hours AFTER check in time. So anyway, we left and came back, the hotel reeked of pot, (later to find out a staff member, doing the linens was doing it) we seen him. The trash cans were all over filled and on the floor around them, on ALL floors, I have several pics from BOTH days and BOTH nights we stayed. Room 224 was horrible, mold and mildew in the shower, the floors were filthy. The hair dryer in the bathroom was broken, and full of other peoples hair somehow. The bath towels, if thats what you want to call them, were torn, and very thin. The water doesn't drain while in the shower! You can see my several pics, they make look the same, but they all from different days to show how NOTHING was cleaned our whole stay! My husband and I left there SICK, due to the mold and mildew. I called the owner, and he did not care one bit!! Do NOT stay here. Pay the extra money and get a GOOD hotel. NOT worth it!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

One star is generous. I was supposed to stay 3 nights and checked out after 1.
Cleanliness - hallways and room reeked of smoke (even though it was a non-smoking room), mold and rust in bathroom
Maintenance - Numerous burn holes/melted spots in the bedspread, sheets, and carpet, property hasn't been mowed and weeds are plentiful
Safety - side door that leads to the elevator has no lock which means anyone can come and go straight to rooms without passing the front desk

At one point this was probably a middle-of-the-road hotel. Now it's worse. Not comfortable, up-to-date, or particularly nice by any means. I included an extra star for convenience: the cockroach was conveniently located right under the lamp on the nightstand (always nice when you don't have to look too hard for them).

Runs were nice but the location was kinda like it was such in the middle of no where and they were going other things would be built around it.

The staff was ok when i checked in. He explained all the paperwork to the gentleman before me but hurried to check me in. He smiled the entire process but when i asked for two keys his demeanor changed. I was harassed and got the local police called on me for smoking in the room. There was no sign of smoke when the police arrived to check our room. I have never been profiled like this before. He automatically charged my card $200. I have stayed at BW numerous times but never have been harassed in such manner.

The breakfast was great. It was cereal and waffles you actually make not frozen, Biscuit and gravy, fruits, yogurt, coffee, oatmeal, and juice.

Staying here tonight and checked into room 114. Room was musty as if it was damp. This room is over run with German cockroaches. We sit our drinks on the table and not even 5 minutes later there were 3 baby roaches on the drink rim. They come out of every appliance in the room. From under the fridge, the microwave, the lamps and in the tub. A picture paints 1000 words.Rooms: Full of German cockroaches.
