“I was a hurricane Katrina responder and only made it as far South as Sardis before I had to rest for the night. I had rescue dogs with me when I arrived at the 'no pet' motel and when they found out that I was an individual responder they: 1) Gave us a free room for as long as we needed one, 2) Welcomed the dogs with open arms and told me not to worry about it, 3) The owners collected money to send to the victims, 4) They got my gas tank filled up in town when the stations were closing. These people are not from the US, but I was blown away by their love of this country and their all out effort to help others. It is not fancy, but these people are worth supporting in my opinion. We need more people like them! So thank you again Lake Inn! I will never ever forget your kindness to strangers in their hours of need. That is about as "patriotic" as it can possibly get and I salute you people for a job well done!”

“Como Inn is such a cute and peaceful bed and breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to most anyone who is in town for an event or just want a quiet overnight. It’s an easy check in and check out process, bedrooms were very clean and beds were comfy! The breakfast was self serve with fruit, sausage croissants, quiche, cereal, toast, coffee, orange juice, and granola bars. There were snacks out to enjoy during the day or night and cookies in the cookie jar. There’s a cute outdoor patio area and green space. I love the historic charm. There are lots of stairs at the entry, which were fine for us, but could be a problem for others… just an FYI. We loved it.”

“Comfy bed! Very clean!
My only problem was that the morning of the day we were to check in, I called to add another room to my reservation and was told someone (at their location) had canceled it the day before and she didn’t understand why. I never got a email about it being canceled. Luckily, Cierra (sp?) got me all squared away!
Had this been a busy, football game weekend, I wouldn’t have had a room!!”

“The front desk staff were fun (don't underestimate the value of putting your guests at ease with a laugh), the room was clean, housekeeping was on top of their game, etc. I'd stay again.”

“The black guy let me get a room this time being late at nite. Last time I was there he told me i had to wait until 3pm to check in Redickous. I should be able to get a room between the hours of 10pm and 4am with any trouble. But not this time.”
