About Oak Grove COE campground
Oak Grove COE Campground offers a peaceful and scenic setting, ideal for boating, fishing, and outdoor fun. The campground is dog-friendly, allowing pets on leashes and even riding in golf carts, making it suitable for families and pet owners. It features a large picnic area that can accommodate family reunions, and a brand-new playground for children. The site is generally clean, with several toilets and showers scattered throughout, and hot showers are available. Many visitors appreciate the affordability, especially with the senior and national park pass discounts, bringing the nightly rate to around $12 to $15. However, some aspects could be improved. The water and sewer hookups are often far from the campsites, requiring multiple hoses, which can be inconvenient. The parking pads tend to be old and somewhat crumbling, and the site layout may be narrow. Mosquitoes can be a problem, especially in the evenings, and the bathhouses sometimes lack soap or need better cleaning. The reservoir level is low, limiting swimming activities, and some sites, like #10, have odd hookups that are hard to reach. Despite these issues, visitors find the campground quiet, friendly, and perfect for outdoor recreation. Overall, Oak Grove COE Campground provides a good outdoor experience with a few areas for improvement.

Friendly and helpful Ranger helped us find the right spot. Grounds are well cared for and the lake looks promising for fish. Full service camp sites spaced well apart.
