Two faced host. He pretends to be your friend while he files complaints on you. I thought park rangers were supposed to be there to help you. Not here, here they harass you and will even call your husband while he's at work just for undue harassment. We never bothered anyone but a park ranger came by 2 days before we were set to leave just to make sure I knew what time check out was. My truck was in the shop and we had to use a uhaul to bring our rv into the park. They didn't like this and went to calling us the uhaul people. I will not be back there. Not to mention the HUGE bug problem. I mean something out of a horror film bad. The knats will swarm and bite and forget enjoying yourself outside don't even try to open the door!Restrooms: About the only thing good in this park is the restrooms and showers

Intended to stay just 2 nights but had to extend due to mechanical issues on RV. Easy to obtain campsite for the extra nights due to high vacancy throughout campground. Nice and quiet, lots of trees and shade.

We are new to RVing. This is our second campground experience. The grounds are well kept, offering lots of shade trees. Easy backing in spots. We stayed in spot 25 on the loop, our campers one ac is able to easily keep cool in hot temperatures because of all the big shade trees. Most sites have a picnic bench, fire pit, and Charcoal grill. Not all sites have septic. Make sure to have a lengthy black water hose because the hookups tend to be set quite far from the pad. Stay length is limited to 2 weeks. 'City' amenities are within 10 to 15 minutes drive, for groceries and restaurants. Would recommend Oak Grove campground.

Campground was nice. It needs upkeep. Sewers connections are raised up hard to drain waste. Some sites have leftover trash from previous campers. Did not use bathhouse. Has open access from road, we experienced a car coming in around 1:30am playing loud music, parked with doors opened, used bathroom stayed for about 10 minutes and left. Just enough to disturb sleep.

Of all COE campgrounds in Ms this is the worst as far as upkeep. Love the place but certainly needs a lot tlc. If u come , put in a weed eater and blower. There was also a lot of trash this time

Easy to find, level rv pads, immaculately clean, quiet. Felt very safe. Nice grounds to walk around on, and be sure to eat at the Catfish restaurant at the entrance. Water, sewer and a comprehensive site map to pick your spot beforehand.

The good:. Oak Grove is a fairly large COE campground on Sardis Lake near Sardis, MS. There are lots of trees for shade, yet we were able to pick up our Dish Satellite from site 76. Verizon cell signal and internet was bad until we got away from the campground. Our drive was long enough to just fit our 38' motorhome and toad. There are quite a few full hook up sites throughout the campground, though not all. 76 is full hook up. The best loop, in my opinion, is the small loop to the left of the campground entrance. The asphalt was a little broken in our site, but we were able to level out, easily. The campground was really quiet and peaceful until the Memorial Day weekend...then it filled to capacity. Oak Grove is near Oxford, MS, which we found to be a lovely town with anything you might need. It is also a very doable trip into Memphis, as well as Tupelo, MS...the birthplace of Elvis. They have a great little museum dedicated to Elvis. The bad: We've been here over a week, now. When we arrived, there was no place to check in, so we found our site and set up. No one has ever checked to see if we were supposed to be here, or not. There is a camp host site near the entry, but I've yet to even see them. As crowded as the grounds have been over this holiday weekend, we've not seen the first ranger patrol through. As there was no check in procedure, we received no map, no emergency numbers, and no car tag, so there is no control over who comes through here. There has also been no enforcement of rules... speeding through the campground, unleashed, barking dogs, etc. The grass was really in need of mowing when we arrived. Finally, right before the memorial day weekend, a crew came in and rapidly moved through in a hit and miss sort of way. The grass in our site is still well over my ankles. All in all, we would stay here, again, if passing through the area, but it wouldn't be our first choice.
