I have been a patient here for 10 years plus. Ms. Ledford is my primary care physician. I and my family wouldn’t go anywhere else. From the front desk to the lab techs, they are all professionals and treat you as if you are family. I am so grateful to them for taking care of my family all these years.

Sometimes the wait can be lengthy but Dr. Gibbons is amazing. She actually sits down and listens to you and makes certain you are on the right path. The nurses are very friendly and keep things nice and casual. I have had issues with waiting in the past but the last few checkups I have had have not been long at all. I will continue to go here.

Schedule appointment to 12 showed up 30 minutes earlier, they did not have availability to see me.
If you scheduling appointment you should respect people's time and see them in that time frame or let them know in advance about a possible delay.
I will go to a different place.

I’ve been going to Desoto family medical for many years. My provider just retired and I was worried about having to pick a new one. I saw Sheri and she was very thorough and has such a wonderful “bedside manner” I recommend them to anyone. The only negative is they need better help T the front desk. The lady forgot to check me in

Book online appointment. Then I got there was Amy Bailey was not there today but had appointment times open for the whole day. Said I could get appointment at 1:45pm wanted to know why I was there told her at front desk.then asked me what was wrong with my foot.told her if I knew that I would have been here.as I turn and walked towards my mom I said this place is going to crap.the little young girl with long black hair and glasses told me that I didn't need to be cussing them.i never cuss at them. Believe me you would know if was talking to you. Been going here for over 20 years.that girl is the most rudely person I have ever seen. I will no longer be going there. Went to Campbell's clinic in and out in 1hr and 35mins.you need new front desk employees. Charles hill

Set up an appointment, came early and waited a bit now in a room and waiting yet again now been here over an hr n a half
We walked through to the dark side of the office and are sitting here in pain after being side eyed by the nurse as if there is nothing they can do for us
The pain and spasms are anguishing

I have been a patient of Visconti for over 20 years. He is the best! I have all the confidence in the world in him, his knowledge and ability. However, I just found out this morning that he retired. Now I'm lost. I will try out the others and pray that I can find someone remotely close to him! They have big shoes to fill!!

Bad attitude rude lady at the desk kicked us out for coming in as a walk in after they told us on the phone there is no available appointments today but u can come in as a walk in at 12:45

i see mckenzie gibbons since last year and she is so kind, so knowledgeable, and so patient. I read these reviews and i hate that ppl only make them when someones having a bad day. I have been going here since i was a child and all the staff is polite. I have never had to wait a ridiculous long time (in 13 years) so i assume if anyone did it was for a pretty good reason. Mckenzie and DFM are super good about sending out prescriptions quickly, scheduling appointments for me for my OBGYN, and getting my lab results back to me as quickly as possible. I have gone here since i was a child and if i have children i would send them here as well.

I’ve been a patient here for over 25 years, the staff is outstanding always pleasant and the facility is always spotless. The Dr’s take the time and address all of your concerns.

They won't take insurance unless you're a w2 employee. Why? They won't say. So I have to be a servant to the system to get this place to give me an appointment. These people are what's wrong with this country.

My visits go really quick and professional but every time I go it cost me more and more money for the same lab work it went from about 160 the first visit to over 300 this last visit and I have insurance may have to look for a new doctor where the lab work isn't as expensive or continues to rise

As I sit here in pain, I am giving this review. I contacted this doctor's office this morning at 8:00 AM for assistance with pain. I was told that my current doctor was out but they would reach out to another doctor in the office to see if they could assist me with my pain. At 11:53 AM this morning I called back and left a voicemail because I was in pain. At 1 o'clock, I called again today in pain and then spoke to the receptionist. To which I was told my doctor was out, the doctor, or the head doctor of the practice said that I would have to wait until my doctor returned the following day regardless of my pain. The same receptionist didn't feel it was important to call and share this dismissive note from the head doctor. Keep in mind the reason for my pain is in my file. I have been waiting since 8:00 am only to be told to wait for my doctor to return tomorrow. As I head to Urgent Care for test I have already taken at this office, I pray no one else ever goes to this location for any assistance. Unfortunately, I am unable to give a negative star.

The worst patient care I have ever experienced. I had an appointment and the doctor, DR. MACKENZIE was was 4 hours behind and rude. To follow, I missed calls after a chest x ray because I have to work constantly. I finally have the time call them back & both times I get told every nurse is busy which is impossible to know when they won’t leave the front desk. Then they HANG UP ON ME. Absolutely ridiculous. This place deserves to be shut down.

Do not recommend. Dr. Mackenzie Gibbons rushes through the visits and has an attitude as though she really does not care about patients health issues. If you were to go here I definitely do not recommend her. Also expect to wait about 3 to 4 hours before you are called to the back and another 45 minutes in the room. Worst Doctor office in Desoto County.
