They won't take insurance unless you're a w2 employee. Why? They won't say. So I have to be a servant to the system to get this place to give me an appointment. These people are what's wrong with this country.

My visits go really quick and professional but every time I go it cost me more and more money for the same lab work it went from about 160 the first visit to over 300 this last visit and I have insurance may have to look for a new doctor where the lab work isn't as expensive or continues to rise

As I sit here in pain, I am giving this review. I contacted this doctor's office this morning at 8:00 AM for assistance with pain. I was told that my current doctor was out but they would reach out to another doctor in the office to see if they could assist me with my pain. At 11:53 AM this morning I called back and left a voicemail because I was in pain. At 1 o'clock, I called again today in pain and then spoke to the receptionist. To which I was told my doctor was out, the doctor, or the head doctor of the practice said that I would have to wait until my doctor returned the following day regardless of my pain. The same receptionist didn't feel it was important to call and share this dismissive note from the head doctor. Keep in mind the reason for my pain is in my file. I have been waiting since 8:00 am only to be told to wait for my doctor to return tomorrow. As I head to Urgent Care for test I have already taken at this office, I pray no one else ever goes to this location for any assistance. Unfortunately, I am unable to give a negative star.

The worst patient care I have ever experienced. I had an appointment and the doctor, DR. MACKENZIE was was 4 hours behind and rude. To follow, I missed calls after a chest x ray because I have to work constantly. I finally have the time call them back & both times I get told every nurse is busy which is impossible to know when they won’t leave the front desk. Then they HANG UP ON ME. Absolutely ridiculous. This place deserves to be shut down.

Do not recommend. Dr. Mackenzie Gibbons rushes through the visits and has an attitude as though she really does not care about patients health issues. If you were to go here I definitely do not recommend her. Also expect to wait about 3 to 4 hours before you are called to the back and another 45 minutes in the room. Worst Doctor office in Desoto County.

This is by far the worst clinic in the county! How is it that I have an appointment at 11am and not seen until after 1? I mean what good does it do to make an appointment? I recommend that you do not use this place!

First time I came I had a great experience this second time not so much. I came in for a DOT physical. The nurse I dealt with was nice bust seem to be conflicted with something. She took my blood pressure and I explained from the beginning I needed a larger cuff. I was ignored and my blood pressure was not read correctly. I never had blood pressure issues or seen numbers that high. The doctor Amy Bailey was more involved in the conversation her and the other nurses were having. Than listing to me as the patient trying to tell her I never had blood pressure issues, the cuffs were the wrong size nor did she try to retake it herself. I was dismissed and labeled as having "uncontrollable hypertension". I won't be coming back and I definitely will not recommend. At least this shift of so-called doctors and nurses.

This has got to be the slowest medical office in DeSoto County!! Every single time I come it gets worse and worse. Today is my very last time coming here. I got here at 10:45am and at 12:31pm I am still waiting to see the doctor. My appointment was at 11am. Make this make sense please?! Run don’t book an appointment here!!

Don’t ever go here ever. I’ve seen the boss whoever physically slap the employees multiple times. I think her name is angel I’m not sure though. I’ve been here many times and will never return because I don’t think I’ve ever seen such improper treatment to employs in my life.

I called to make an appointment and was told that they do take my Medicare insurance. When I arrived, I was told that they do not take my insurance. When I asked how much my visit would be without insurance, the rude lady said that she didn’t know for sure but it will cost $100 “just to walk down the hallway “!!!On a separate occasion, my husband visited this office and was in need of a referral. We told the doctor what day would be best for him to go to the other doctor. We waited for days to hear from this clinic on when the next appointment would be. On the date we told them, the new doctors office said it was THIS DAY and my husband had missed his appointment!! When I called the Desoto County Family Medical Center, the girl argued with me that she had talked to my husband yesterday and told him the date of his appointment. I was with my husband that entire day and NO ONE FROM THIS CLINIC HAD CALLED HIM!!!I would not recommend this clinic! I’ve just moved to the area. I will definitely be looking for another doctor!!!

First time patient, I had an appointment at noon and got there a little early for the paperwork. A woman came in a bit after me (11:57) and asked "I'm a little late are they still going to be able to see me?" The receptionist said "yes if it's a few minutes no problem." The lady said "okay thank you, my husband is dropping me off and I wanted to check before he left." 7 minutes later (12:04) the receptionist apologized and told the woman her appointment was at 11:40 and she was over the 20 minute grace period and would have to reschedule. She asked if there was anything that could be done and explained her situation and pain and the receptionist said unfortunately not so she sadly rescheduled for tomorrow. She kindly left, in pain, to return tomorrow. At 12:37, 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I asked how much longer it would be explaining I had to return to work. The receptionist said "she's running behind there's nothing I can tell you." I asked for my money back and left, never to return.

Disappointed to leave this review because I've had no issue with this place. But my issue is with the lab. The lab girl had self tanner all over hands. Why did I notice? She didn't wear gloves. Or wash her hands. Such a no no. Disgusting for a lab worker to neglect cleanliness when they work with blood and others fluids. Let's do better!!!!!

Yeah that’s a no for me dawg. I don’t show up for a scheduled app 10-15 minutes early to wait nearly two hours and still not be called back to see the dr. I understand there’s a wait time and things that go on behind the scenes but I’m too busy to wait over 90 minutes. Be competent enough to see a patient within a reasonable time of their app. If you don’t care then I don’t care. I’ll have some one that cares check my health.

Everyone there is always so nice and polite and I love Dr Gibbons she hits it right on the nail never misses a link all nurses and staff are very very friendly love my doctor's office

Update- I’ve been seeing a new provider and my appointments have been greatI didn’t love my visit with this office. The NP seemed very rushed and didn’t have any interest in actually listening to my health concerns. Her nurse was great however.
