Terrible service. Takes forever to get prescriptions and speak with a pharmacist.

Drugstore and staff are fine. However, I was forced to use CVS because I chose Welcare for plan d Medicare. This insurance is to be avoided. It covers very few drugs and for those it covers prices are exorbitant. Welcare owns CVS which explains the problem. I will choose an insurance that accepts Walmart next year.

So rude. I called to see if they had my medication in stock and the lady who answered the phone told me, very rudely, they could not give me that information over the phone. Every other pharmacy in Starkville has been able to tell me. My prescriber even told me I would have to call and see where it was available. I asked to speak to someone else and was on hold forever before being told they don't even carry what I needed. Waste of time. Wouldn't recommend using their pharmacy in Starkville.

I found the staff to be very helpful, friendly and courteous. Unfortunately my insurance did not cover my prescription but it was thoroughly explained and the staff was helpful. From the minute i walked-in and was greeted to the exit I found my experience was pleasant. The store felt very clean and organized. Thank you to the pharmacist.

Pharmacists there are patient, responsible and knowledge, but seems a bit slow. May be they are under staffed. Better call to check if your prescription are ready before heading there.

I am a disabled vet with full VA health care coverage and I have no choice but to get prescriptions from this cvs pharmacy in Starkville. I had outpatient shoulder surgery at OCH on February 13th and was given scripts for pain medication to get filled to take home with me for the night because My nerve block would be wearing off soon. My wife took the scripts to get filled here because this is the only place I can get them filled and be paid for by the VA. Once my wife got to the counter she was told that the prescriptions would not be ready until the following day. She explained the situation but it didn't matter. This is unacceptable and frankly quite ridiculous. Someone who has had surgery and requires pain medication should never wait till the next day to get their prescription. We ended up paying out of pocket at a local pharmacy in order to have the medicine. Great way to treat your disabled vet CVS Starkville!

I was at the pharmacy trying to refill my prescription this afternoon and was trying to use a GoodRX coupon, as I've done in the past, since the prescription was over $280. The pharmacy tech was not listening to what I was saying, would not take the time to talk to me, and clearly showed her frustration with my questions. When I had enough of her refusal to interact in a professional manner, I turned to leave and the pharmacy tech yelled across the store "you have a great day!" There were four people in line behind me. Not a good show of customer support.I am extremely disappointed in this incident as I have been a CVS customer for many years. I have since transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy and am meeting with my investment broker tomorrow to sell my CVS stock.

Your automated phone system is the utterly ridiculous. I had one simple question that would've taken 30 seconds to answer. Instead I wasted 15minutes trying to reach the pharmacy. I could've DROVE there faster and still never got the phone answered.

I was asked to come back in two hours to pick up my prescription. I waited over two hours and then had to wait behind someone who did not get a prescription but make-up for another 10 minutes. If you’re not getting a prescription then you go up to the front of the store to the self check out or staffed register. It appears customer service is not a thing anymore.

If I could give zero stars I would. If another pharmacy in town doesn't have the prescription you need CVS will not call said pharmacy to get the prescription transferred over to them. Even when they know you need it for surgery the NEXT day. Great customer service.....

The pharmacist was so rude. I will definitely report him. I will be contacting the General Manager for this store.

Clean, supplied store with an AWFUL pharmacy.I have been a client of the Starkville CVS location for a year. While the actual CVS store is tidy and well-stocked, the pharmacy is a different story. I have had one significant issue with medications being out of stock. As of recent, I have been on hold for 30 minutes for multiple phone calls, most of which I give up trying to contact someone due to time constraints in my schedule. Every time I have been inside to pick-up medications, the line is extremely long. While the drive-through is sometimes faster, the outside drive-through is broken and causes a long line to build in the inner drive-through. I have often seen customers upset with the pharmacy workers and the pharmacy workers being harsh towards one another. If it weren't for insurance purposes, I would not choose the CVS pharmacy in Starkville. They seriously need to consider the demand/client ratio and either hire more employees or fix the broken drive-through, etc.

I went to CVS today I overheard 2 employees talking about they followed a customer to her car and wrote their tag number down on suspicion of stealing. They didn't catch the person stealing. They going to get popped playing those types of games without proof.
