“Thrift Drugs is ALWAYS BUSY, but it's the best place in town to get your prescription medication filled or just to buy meds over the counter! Really like that it's locally owned and operated right here in MCCOMB, MS! Better personalized service here, waaay more than the big chain pharmacies hands down!! The owner Mr. Marty and his staff are always eager to help and are very knowledgeable. If there is a certain medication, over the counter or prescription medication that they do not have in stock or they do not carry, Thrift Drugs WILL GET IT FOR YOU usually next day!!”
“The hospice care side of the pharmacy is great. The regular part of the store- they need better front counter help. I've been waited on twice by a young woman who's people skills need sharpening. She has a very bouncy attitude and seems pleasant on the surface. I have been in the front part twice to try to find things for my mother and this same clerk has waited on me. I walked out both times without what I needed for my mother. I have worked in the public and for the public most of my adult life. Had I done my job the way this clerk does hers, I'd have been let go.Again, the hospice side, those ladies are compassionate and good at their jobs. Which is why I'm giving Guy's 4 stars. If Mr. Guy had better front help, he would get 5.”

Update: pharmacist is the BEST and some assistants are doing better some not so much. Employees could be a bit nicer and not as slow. Drive through seem to not be able to keep up with who is next in 2lanes. Perhaps because of 2 lanes not sure.
Anyway the pharmacist rates 5 stars + especially in how he handles busy times!”
“I had a major insurance issue today that could have cost me 370 bucks . I'm very thankful for the employees that were working today and took the time to help me. They were very attentive and took care of my needs even though it was a busy day . This is why I only use this pharmacy for all of my needs .”
“Horrible letdown of a place! They insult me here. They put me down and I didn’t do anything wrong or anything to them. Now the whole town keeps putting me down. They’re rude usually. Rude is an understatement, borderline threatening. I have a much harder time getting my meds filled on time here and they’re so disrespectful. - Edit: that did not give me the right to be disrespectful though :) they do seem pretty nice. I confronted them about what happened and they’ve been nicer to me. I appreciate it. Thanks for being nice to me.”

“They always have my medicine ready to pick up. Everybody that works there is always so nice. They are quick and efficient. You never have a long wait when going thru the drive through. They will pack your pills in convenient packs that are for when to take them. Ms. Peggy is always so nice and works well with you getting your medication arranged so you know exactly when too take it. They also will deliver your medication even if you live outside of the town. Levi the young man that delivers is such a wonderful person. He always is so sweet and has the greatest smile. He ask if there is anything else he can do for you and he always makes sure that your order is correct. He is one of the best people I have ever met. He is quick and efficient for this drug store, I love all of the employees of the store but Levi is my favorite employee he makes you feel so blessed everytime he is at the store or when he is out delivering your medicine. I just can't say enough good things about him. He just is a wonderful person.”
