Great little stop while traveling. They have a blues museum but we arrived right at closing so didn't get to explore. Restrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and the shop is cute.

Got to see some of the items in visitor section. If we had more time we would have paid $10 each to go into the Blues Museum.

Great place to stop and stretch your legs and get a tour of the history of the Blues. And maybe a couple souvenirs.

Very cold welcome! For fans of blues crossing the Atlantic, Sad to be welcomed like this!No help and no advice!Nonchalant attitude of the reception and counter attendant! She might be racist against white people or maybe she thinks that we don't deserve the blues ?♂️But I'm sure we'll find passionate people on our blues pilgrimage...However, the place and the building are great!Beautiful library of dedicated books ;-)

Very well done visitors center and museum. The 2 ladies working there were super nice and very knowledgeable.

We did not feel welcome. This is the first visitors center that we have visited that we did not feel well informed and welcomed. The actually building has a really cool vibe. Unfortunately, when I asked what there is to do around the area, I was pointed to the brochures. While we were souvenir shopping (we were planning on purchasing a music box for our little girl and were playing them so she could hear the songs and pick which one she wanted) we were asked not to play them because they could break. I don’t understand how she could listen and pick without us playing them and if they are that delicate then we definitely didn’t want to purchase one for our little girl. We did not purchase one for her. The lady was not mean or rude, just gave the feeling that we were bothering her day. We were going to pay the $10 to tour the museum but did not want to spend our money where it wasn’t appreciated. Go to the Riverpark museum, they are much more welcoming and informative!

In my opinion, this was mostly a gimmick to charge you $10 per person to look at displays that would be free to look at anywhere else.We got lured in by the "Visitors Center" signs.
