Two guys handled my moving one was younger age the other one was old around 50They broke my entertainment center, I’ve heard a big noise. The younger guy explained your me they just had to leave it on the floor for a second and nothing happened, he lied when they left and I got home later on that night I’ve seen how broken my entertainment center is. He also promised to come and help me fix a scratch they left on the dining table and I never heard from him.Service: Local moving

I rented out an office space that I had been using personally and had several very large and heavy pieces of furniture to move. My daughter had used this company several years ago, and had been pleased so I called them.Joe gave me a reasonable estimate on the phone based on time for two men and truck expenses. I emphasized that some of the furniture was very heavy, and he said "I'll send three men ...no extra charge."Josh, T.Y., and Fred arrived exactly on time and set to work. They were young, strong and very pleasant to work with. They finished an hour sooner than the estimate with no damage to my belongings.I am very pleased with their efficiency, courtesy, and the price. I recommend A Man And A Van without hesitation.Tom Gates

Not recommended. Moved some of my parent's furniture to my house after my mother passed. Polite, but slapped things into place. Little concern for the condition of furniture. Put a 50-year old Ethan Allen chair with a cushion on top of a small chest of drawers on the lift, then when I said I'd get it, let go of it before I had a chance to get any kind of grip. Of course, it fell and split one of the support spindles in two. Guy blamed it on me for not getting it. I don't recommend you use these guys at all.

The worst moving experience we have ever had and we have used multiple moving companies. We have a LOT of stuff (5 bedroom home) so it normally takes at least two full trucks to move us. These guys handled a move for us 7 months ago from a house to storage. One guy stayed on the phone the whole time he was at our house. Then he ghosted at lunch and a different crew showed up to unload the first truck. They didn't even finish the move in the same day... had to unload the second truck the next morning. They clearly weren't prepared and weren't wise enough to compensate when they realized it was too much for one crew to manage. Comparatively, when Two Men and A Truck heard the size of our storage units, they told us (sight unseen) that it was a two crew job. It took A Man and A Van a day and a half. Two crews of Two Men and A Truck completed the job in 10 hours and that included the 3 hour round trip drive to our new house. Also, we have only just finished unpacking everything from that move, and I have a long list of items they broke. Most notably, they split the legs and broke the end of a huge sideboard that was not cheap... instead of telling us about it, they hid the broken side in the back corner of the storage unit so it wasn't found until the next movers emptied our stuff. They also stacked several plastic Tupperware bins at the front of the storage unit with no support. They foolishly put a bin of china on top. I had each piece individually wrapped inside the bin so when the stack inevitably fell (at some point in time during the six months it was in storage), EVERY item wasn't shattered, but there were still several broken pieces. I just reordered the replacement pieces and it was $240 before tax. Wish I could give them no stars.

I highly recommend man and a van. They moved items from my mother's apartment to my apartment and then the rest into storage in record time. The two men were courteous and quick.

Wonderful experience moving my mother-in-law to Traceway. Josh and Greg were careful, experienced movers, who were most polite. In three moves, I have never had a problem with A Man and a Van—so glad we have this service here.

I hired this company to move me from a 1 bedroom apt in Tupelo and place my stuff in a storage unit less than a mile from the apartment complex.. I had everything packed and the bed taken apart. They charged me 130 dollars an hour, and it took them 3 hours to move. The owner sent to college age kids to move me with no supervision and stuck it to me. I moved from Southaven, MS to Tupelo, MS and used Two men and a truck and paid less than I did for this move.

These movers blocked an entire section of parking spots in my culdesac and refused to move their truck so people could park in their spots. Even though our lot has a specific spot for moving vans that they apparently didn't want to park in. I was told to "call the number on the truck if I had an issue". So I waited 30 minutes, and then my boyfriend came home and told them they needed to move and they said if someone asked them to move they would. At that I decided they deserved for me to call their number on their truck. Which as soon as they saw me do that, they moved the truck pretty quickly. I know moving is a pain, but it's not asking a lot to be a little more considerate of the people around you, especially when there was a very easy solution.
