This is my bank with many branches in Tupelo and surrounding areas plus surrounding States I have done maintenance for them for years and I found that the managers and employees are just as helpful off the clock as they are at work

My experience with Renasant Bank has not been good. No one communicates with each other. I got a few months behind in my mortgage payments when I found out I had brain cancer and had to have surgery and go through treatments. I called the mortgage company and told them right away. I asked for help. They first time they kept losing my paperwork. Then I finally got them to keep up with the paperwork. My payments were over 800.00 dollars so what do they do calling themselves helping me, they raised my house payments to 1335.50 a month. That's not helping and then I'm paying the payments but they still keep charging me in addition to that they charge me 16.50 twice a month for somebody to drive by my house to put a note on my door. I could see if i didnt pay or ignored there phone call but thats not the case.

My experience is with Renasant Bank Mortgage Assumptions Department. I began the process of assuming my existing mortgage loan in March. The application process was confusing and no one was available to help with the application. Through out my application process, I was unable to reach anyone from the assumptions department via telephone. I called multiple times and was transferred multiple times. Generally I ended up in a generic voicemail box. No contact person was ever appointed. The only means of communication was a general email account that sometimes was responded to sometimes was not. Throughout the process I received two letters in the mail requesting additional information. Each time they were signed by different people with the main phone number that eventually lead back to no where. Also there were no individual email addresses provided. Even though the additional information could have been easily provided and cleared up with a single telephone call, that was not an option. This company primarily responds by U.S. Postal Service. Even that was confusing as the address on their return envelope was not recognized by the post office. Although my assumption was time sensitive, Renasant Bank could not have been less helpful. No one updated me, no one responded to my inquiries on the status of my loan, and although the application said it would take 30 days, it took nearly 7 months start to finish. I did receive a call from the head of the department today. Mike was professional, but he lacked the resources to actually be of any help to me. It is unfathomable to me that a customer that is in good standing can't get through to a representative via telephone or email in 2019. This was the poorest experience in customer service I have ever had even beating out Comcast.
