I've had the membership here now 8 months. The prices are ok. I had Costco for years and the costs and quality were better, but there isn't one here. The biggest deterrent now for me to go is I can rarely escape the parking lot without being hassled by someone saying they need money. This specifically keeps happening at this location and at the Walmart close by. It hasn't happened to me at Kroger or Aldi's, so I'm thinking they can do something about it. Honestly is scary how close some of them come up to you and corner you between cars.

I called the pharmacy to see if they had the drug I needed in stock. The lady I spoke with said they had 1 available so I immediately called my Doctor to call in the refill. My Doctor’s office called me back within minutes and called in the refill. When I called Sams to check the status of the prescription they said it wasn’t called in. I called my doctor’s office and they said it had in fact been called in. I then called the pharmacy back and they now said it’s on back order.

I hate to leave a bad review but when it's earned then it's earned. I've frequented several Sam's Clubs across Mississippi and this one is by far the worst run. The management here is being held together with twine and paper clips, and it's easy to tell that the staff are treated terribly and have no motivation to succeed because of it. Not only do they consistently understaff every department to pad their profit margins, but they overwork those already under supported employees. The poor girl in the bakery told me she had been there 12 hours because they would not allow her to cut off orders the day prior (the day before a holiday) and she was the only one scheduled the next day as well! The store is constantly dirty, and the bathrooms are usually a wreck, and I can't tell you how many times I've witnessed members walking out without anything because the stock is terrible. Pro tip: drive to Memphis (an hour and a half away) and swing by Costco! Clean, beautiful, and friendly.

Manager on duty was completely insane. First I asked at the door, if I am returning Jewelry do I make a return at the Jewelry counter or the regular return counter; he said the regular return counter. After waiting for 20 minutes I was told returns for jewelry are made at the jewelry counter. I asked for the jewelry manager, and he was short and small in stature, so I described him as the small man when I ask to speak to if he was big I would have described him as a big man, and she accused me of calling him names. She then ask the other customers their opinion of my reference to his as a short man. I asked if I could take a picture of her badge so I would have her name, and she started running outside. So when I left the store she called the police while I stood there waiting to be picked up by husband. The police asked her if I had stole anything, at first she said no but then I don't know maybe. They asked her if I assaulted anyone and she said no but I had followed her out the door and I had asked for her name and tried to take her picture. You could tell the police thought she was a insane also. So this is management material at SAMS Warehouse?

Things are constantly out of stock. But, I guess that is just apart of life right now. Parking lot is always clean, bathrooms could use some work. Hard working cart "grabbers." And the little food court is good & cheap! I'm glad they finally brought the salads out, and are available. I wish they had everything that they advertised, on their video menu. Oh and they do now have sushi rolls, but they are alllllllll the way in the back, by the bread & frozen meats. They would sell more, if the were in the cooler where they put the salads. It could even possibly help the flow of the one, or maybe 2 people working the little food court counter. Because the sushi is already made, they just need to pay for it, then eat! I really do enjoy the scan & go, on the app. You don't have to touch too many things, like possibly germs.

The ladies at customer service were really helpful and showed us how to use the app to scan and go and how to use it at the gas pump.

I walk with crutches… I was stuck in this store for hours due to the mobile chair going dead and they did not have the manual chairs… the associates had no answers and just walked around… this is ridiculous.. I had to turn it off and on to make it to the front… I guess this is what I pay for

I went to buy a mattress, drove 45 min away, because they had it in stock. The Serta Matress was on the very top shelf. I went to customer service and asked if she could get someone to get it down for me. She made a call, I literally heard the guy say, I'm off duty till 3 (about 40 minutes) they have to wait......I run a business and I would never make a paying customer wait. Is Sam's in the business of selling products or turning money away. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Management needs to be replaced. I'll stick to Costco. Wasted $100 on S*** Club. S*** Club needs a new manager.

Tupelo Sam's is HORRIBLE!! Again, I say AGAIN, there were NO Large Cargo Carts at the entrance, and this has been going on for years! I have complained online and instore, at least a dozen times about this inconvenience, and nothing changes.. I asked the cart tendant, who was moping around the area doing NOTHING, to retrieve me a cart.. Guess what the tendant said... quote; "there are some down near the drive-up exit area"... So, I said, "well is it your job to retrieve carts?", then he said, "you can walk down there and get one"... ???? I was so angry I contacted an assistant mgr, whom I recorded on video, and he said that I could go down to the EXIT loading area and get one?????? What the hell? EVERY single "OTHER" Sam's I have EVER been to, retrieves the carts, and places them at the front entrance, but Tupelo Sams seems to think it is the "customer's" place to do so??? Besides that fact, I don't want a cart that hasn't been sanitized, and the carts at the exit loading area are, obviously, all used prior... Get the pic? Sam's in Tupelo is the worst I have ever visited, period! I have a list of OVER 100 things that they are slacking on, customer service is one.. We had to wait 37 minutes along with another couple, for a stockman to retrieve a chair we were buying off of the rack..?? Then the stockman acted like he was mad about having to do it??? I'm a business member, 19 years, and have always been admitted during the early hours as part of the business member contract, but about 3 weeks ago, I went to enter early at sams Tupelo, and they said I had to be a "plus" member now???? Seems they are breaching the contract!! BIGTIME! Or trying to force me to become a so-called "plus" member in addition to paying extra for the business membership??? Are there no longer ANY benefits to being a "business" member, if not I might as well save the extra $ and just be a regular member.... Liberals MUST be running this Tupelo branch, they are all lazy and have attitudes.. One employee was slapping hands, at the checkout area, with a dirty looking individual that had a shirt on that had the initials BLM in the largest letters possible... I have, lately, been traveling 30+ extra miles to Florence Alabama Sam's Club!! The difference is daylight and dark! I have NEVER, not once, EVER had to go find my own Cargo Cart! For those in the area of Tupelo, it is worth the extra travel to Sam's in Florence, "IF" you want the real Sam's experience! They have hundreds of items that the Tupelo location "should" have, but are too lazy to implement.. The layout in the Tupelo Sams sucks also, you can't find anything because it is so dis-organized.. I don't want to spend 3/4s of my time "searching" for a product that "used to be" on isle 4, only to find out it is on the other side of the store now?? And you have to work through a literal "maze" to get to the other side of the store, it is a nightmare! The isles are so narrow you can't pass anyone that is stopped or has left their buggy blocking the isle.. The entire store is filthy too, there are areas that I avoid because the floor is often sticky there.. Sam's in Florence is ALWAYS spick and span! Sam's in Florence also has a huge wine selection, another product that Tupelo Sam's is too lazy to implement... I hope that soon a Costco will come to Tupelo and put these lazy liberals at the Sam's there, out of business!
