I’ve never loved my hair as much as I do now! Lynsee is truly amazing—she not only makes my hair look incredible, but she also takes the time to teach me how to care for it and style it on my own. Citizens Style has the best atmosphere I’ve experienced in a salon, everyone working there is so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend seeing my girl Bailey Shepperd! She’s extremely patient, answers all my questions, gives suggestions but will not push you to do anything you aren’t comfortable with, and is overall just such a friendly person to speak with! I truly believe you’ll be in good hands with each and every person at Citizens Style, 10 out of 10!

I just had my first appointment with Madison and she was amazing!! She took my mess of a Pinterest board and turned it into the haircut/color of my actual dreams. Not to mention everyone I spoke with during my appointment was so friendly! All of the cuts and dyes I saw while I was there were amazing. The salon is beautiful on the inside and super clean, and there is plenty of parking around. Pro tip: if you're having a hard time trying to explain your style, pop into the salon! The stylists will be happy to look through your inspo and curate a custom look for you.

I love my appointments at Citizens Style. It is in a fantastic location in historic downtown Tupelo. I always feel the focus of my stylist (Lynsee), despite them being very busy. Lynsee Pannell is my stylist and she is a true magician. All of their stylists are incredibly talented and a lot of fun to be around. I drive 30 miles one way to see Lynsee and she is worth every minute and every penny. Citizens Style is the only high end salon in Tupelo but it still has a comfortable and welcoming feel. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed!

This hair salon may have outstanding reviews, but my experience was not at all remotely good. This was our first time here. We have just moved to the area and I had read all the great reviews so that is why I chose this salon to take my son to. I had an appointment for 3:45 with Sarah, I arrived at 3:40. No one ever spoke to me or even asked who I was seeing. After about 10 min, I walked up to the counter and waited another 5 min for someone to come. Finally they did and I explained that I had an appointment for 3:45 but had been there since 3:40 and that it was our first time here. She told me Sarah would be right with me. 10 minutes went by then another 5, 6, 7 min went by and no one ever came to get us or even tell us that they may have been running behind. So we got up and left at 4:20. This is unprofessional. And the fact that you have to pay a certain percentage for your appointment time to be secured is ridiculous. Beyond pissed isn’t even the word.
