Everyone has been so nice and caring. I love the vet, he shows you picture and explains everything to make sure you fully understand what is going on. He took care of my baby on an emergency visit and did surgery on her and saved her life!! I highly recommend this amazing vet and his staff!!

Amazing staff and friendly. Some vets are more dog people but mines, Dr. Clayton, was very unbiased towards my cat and was very helpful!

Took a newly rescued baby here for 1st evaluation! They were amazing and very reasonable! I'm grieving the loss of old boy a few months ago and the clinic that helped me through that was amazing but hard to get appointment as needed! And SO expensive. Weeks or more out so when I call here they got me in the same day! Thanks so much! Vet was fabulous, very personable, understood just what a sap I am for animals! Have already recommended this veterinary clinic to a couple of people! Thanks so much!

I will no longer be using Tupelo Small Animal Hospital. I took my pregnant dog this morning (June 12) with concerns that she was having a difficult labor. They had previously xrayed her and saw only one pup but didn't show any concern. Come to find out only one pup can be a big concern due to decreased survival rates. The pup has no competition so can get bigger than normal and can possibly produce less hormones required for labor to start and continue. After signs of labor last night I took her first thing this morning and requested an ultrasound to make sure pup was OK and no issues were expected. I basically was told she's a large breed dog and they never see problems so there was no concern and no ultrasound was done. She started birthing the pup this evening. His snout cleared and he was breathing and making noise (squeaks) at that time but he became stuck and by the time he was birthed fully he had died. And what makes it even worse is this was our little miracle pup and this was the only chance at keeping both our dogs bloodlines with our family throughout my life. Maybe if they had taken our concerns more seriously it would have been different. Maybe not. But what I do know is that I had a concern and they ignored it and the very thing I was concerned about happened.

I will be changing vets. After coming to vet on the morning of June 12th with concerns that my dog was having a potentially difficult labor due to it be a single puppy when they did the xray previously. I was basically told my concerns were meaningless that my dog is a large breed dog and even one puppy shouldn't get large enough to pose an issue and that my request for ultrasounds was needless. The evening of June 12th the puppy was being delivered at my home. The Snout appeared and he was breathing so he was alive however he became stuck and by the time he was born he had passed. So my concerns that the vet blew off were completely correct. This is the second pet I have had pass while using the vet. Our last dog developed cancer and while the vets misdiagnosis didn't lead to him losing his life (his cancer wasn't treatable) it did lead to increased suffering in his last days since we weren't prepared properly.

Super impressed with this practice. Appointment started on time. Facilities were super clean. Emily was extremely nice and professional and completed a thorough assessment. Dr Yates was amazing with us and our dog and provided recommendations for treatments that were best for our dog rather than best for his pocket book. So refreshing to visit a practice that scores top marks in every category. This is definitely my go to vet for my babies.
