I have 5 complaints about Walgreens on MAIN ST, in Tupelo, MS#1- They RARELY answer the phone, I usually end up driving there just to speak with someone. IF they do happen to pick up you'll have been on hold from anywhere to 10-45 minutes!#2- They've been out of stock on 2 of my medications. Not only did they run out already this month, they also ran out multiple times last month, the month before that & the month before that! Which is no concern to them to not stock enough medications being as they're certainly not going to try & help resolve the situation plus they can't even provide any information on a time frame of when they will have the medication. Just simply "The truck might come tomorrow, it might not & if it does, we still might not even get the medications then & we have no idea when we will or IF we will have any of it all"#3- Drive thru wait is INSANELY SLOW! It averages anywhere from 20mins-1.5 hrs!#4-There have been numerous occasions I have dropped my prescriptions off to be filled. Came back to pick them up at the time they requested. Not only did they not have it ready but they also make me wait another whole hour plus have to make an extra trip back. Simply bc they could not manage to stick to their OWN TIME FRAME!! RIDICULOUS#5-In the store part, the bathrooms closing at 10pm is very aggravating & annoying & closing the store down at night due to being short handed?? Is that not part of being a Manager!! If the place of business a person "manages" literally has to close the doors due to not having enough employees, it just seems like that would be a prime tIme for a Manager to STEP UP & do their job instead of shutting the store down!

06/11/2023 Ran by there yesterday to pick up a couple of things with my grandson. We had to use the restroom. I rang the bell 3 times then walked to the front. Spoke to an employee as she was pulling stickers off of the shelf. I asked, if she could please unlock the restroom. She said, We are short handed it's going to be awhile. ( all she was doing was pulling stickers off the shelf) We left and my grandson had a accident as we walked to my car. ? Just sad

Called and requested a prescription refill, told them I'm from out of town (60+ miles)... gas prices $4.50...Suppose to be 180 pills...Arrived 2.5 hours later to pick up prescription. They had 10 pills, said they would have the rest sometime MONDAY and I could pick them up then. That equals 240 miles driving.Charged me $14 for 10 pills, whole 180 pills was quoted during call to be $43...They will screw you if you let them...

I’ve had terrible experiences repeatedly at this pharmacy; many different types of terrible experiences during the brief period of time I’ve lived in this area. After 5+ weeks, I’ve never been able to successfully pick up any of my three prescriptions that have been brought in, sent in, faxed in. Doesn’t matter. It’s the exception that someone behind the pharmacy counter acknowledges a customer, and it definitely doesn’t mean the customer will get prescription. Tonight I was scolded by person at pharmacy counter for asking about my prescription on a Friday night - at a 24-hour pharmacy. Dealing with this place will result in a need for medications for anxiety and blood pressure. But guess what - you won’t be able to get them there even if they pretend they’re getting them ready.

The wait time is ridiculous. I was given the run around for 5 hours (kept telling me two hours, have to pull prescriptions in a certain order, it’s ready, no it’s not ready). Terrible!

Text gave me the opportunity to have my meds delivered yesterday (before lunch) said it would be delivered by 6:30, never received! I started calling and was on hold 1.75 hours ! Called back, another 30 minutes, called at 3 am another 20 minutes, finally spoke with someone at 6 ish she said they have no delivery service! I wasted 7.99 for nothing! Got to drive thru this morning and they had no record of me paying, they sure took it out of my account. So I had to pay for my antibiotics AGAIN… l asked the girl did they not answer the phone anymore because I was hot by then, she said naw we just in here hanging out and chilling…it went downhill from there.

It's a typical Walgreens store in stock and layout. This is the main, 24 hour (subject as always to COVID-19 needs) pharmacy for Tupelo so it can suddenly become crowded and/or jammed within pharmacy ordering, consulting with a pharmacist, and picking up. Pharmacists and staff are helpful and friendly but obviously so busy that they are not available to easily speak with customers or to provide timely new and refills fulfillment when orders exceed their capacity. You also know that's the case when the automated voice response system gives you a 36 to 48 hour pickup time for your one prescription.

I am DISGUSTED! I have waited (patiently I might add) for 2 years, on a refund. This refund is several hundred dollars, so not "a couple of bucks no biggie". The amount shouldn't matter, because it's MY money, but it's important to me. This refund is due to negligence of the employees, to begin with. Having information not belonging to me or my children, too many files on several members, employees not willing to do but bare minimum to help (customers and fellow employees)... a mess. I spoke between insurance and walgreens employee for hours, correcting information walgreens had and was asked by myself to do. After poor customer service and help at the local store, I was forced to spend hundreds of dollars without any true explanation. After 2 years of speaking with both walgreens (many employees over 2 years) and insurance (also alot more people in 2 years) it was a simple answer. Now I am still given the run around. Speaking with Records, Billing, Retro, etc NO ONE HANDLES REFUNDS... seems like theft at this point...

The customer service at this pharmacy is absolutely terrible. They refuse to help with any type of irregularity even when the fault is caused by them. In my experience they told me my daughters prescription could not be filled because my insurance had her birthday wrong. After being insulted in front of other customers and verbally threatened if I did not leave I was able to speak with a manager and my insurance to determine it was actually information entered incorrectly by the pharmacy that caused the “irregularity”. No apology was given by the pharmacy workers. They would not even make eye contact with me. Not exactly the service one would expect when you simply need to fill a prescription for an antibiotic for your sick child. Especially when you have had the same insurance for her since birth and KNOW for FACT there has never been an issue with her birthday before.A true disgrace to the profession.RUN don’t walk to find a different pharmacy.

This is the worst Walgreens on earth. They are so rude and unprofessional. I’m speaking of the pharmacy.
