“My new husband (!) and I got married here on March 23, 2024. We now live in Charlotte, NC, but wanted to get married in my hometown where most of my family still lives. We could think of no place better than the beautiful, historical Cedar Grove Mansion. Kendra and the staff (especially Amy) were amazingly helpful and professionals through and through. We knew our group of bartenders would be rowdy, so we bought out the entire property, and everyone had an amazing time. The house is stunning on its own – the perfect blend of Old South charm with modern convenience – so we didn't have to do much in the way of decorating. A few flower arrangements, fabric drapes, and some gold color throughout enhanced the natural beauty of the house. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, #9, that opens up onto the balcony behind the house that overlooks the courtyard. The room was enormous and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for our friends and family to visit and come and go as they pleased. The house is also a short walk to the river and the stores downtown, which we took advantage of.All in all, it was a perfect day (and a perfect weekend) made possible by the staff at Cedar Grove, and we can't thank them enough!Special shoutout to our photographer, Karlton Jenkins of RIPPZ Media, for capturing the best parts of our special day!”

“The Watermark is a beautiful venue and I had a great time performing there. Everybody was very friendly, workers and customers. This was my first time playing in Vicksburg, and it was a great experience. It was a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from my college, but it was definitely worth the trip. I hope to be back sometime soon. Thank y’all!”

“Had to change sheet. It appeared to have a stain. Did not have 2 extra pillows to spare for our room.Rooms: Had to change bed sheet. It had what appeared to be a stain. I believe it had been washed but the stain was still there. They should replace any stained sheets with new ones.”

“The staff took really good care of us. We were there for the outage at Grand Gulf. No one bothered us. The staff were all very friendly and took care of us.I would like to address a few issues. On the website and Google Maps it really needs to be updated. The pics of the swimming pool and whirlpool needs to be removed. Alot of guests booked their stay with the assumption that it was open. PER MANAGEMENT: THE POOL IS SCHEDULED TO BE DEMOLISHED. IT WILL NOT REOPEN.At the time we were there, renovation was going on. Please be patient until it is finished. Everything got a refresh and repaired. New appliances, washers and dryers etc. The shower heads in the showers need to be turned down a little due to spraying so hard against the back wall that it sprays out past curtain onto the floor. This will eventually cause water damage. The air conditioner units need to be sealed better on the outside because when it rains, water is coming in the unit and getting the carpet wet.I believe the crew they hired for the renovation could have done better work. The manager kept having to go behind them making them correct their mistakes and making them clean up behind themselves. They sound have known to do that anyway. The beds need to be checked because there is metal sticking out on the edges of each corner of the bed. These things really hurt and cut your legs.I would like to address housekeeping. There were some that really upset guests. They were knocking on the doors trying to collect linens before people were even ready to check out. If check out time is a certain time, no one needs to be knocking on their door until checkout time is reached. Also, if housekeeping is ever expected to help guests with anything or need to talk to them, they need to know how to speak English. It's very aggravating when they can't understand you when you need something. ? They need to be able to interact with guests. A few guests were almost walked in on. I heard them all the way to my room. All in all our stay was pleasurable. ?”
