I bought a 2002 Toyota Tacoma that is a complete rust bucket. From Hugh Cooper he’s very dishonest and acts oblivious to isssues with his vehicles and has no concern for people. He sold me a rusted out truck that’s not worth parts or junk price.i just want my money back and his dealer license pulled. The truck had duct tape covering rust holes on the frame and the frame was repaired incorrectly and could cause someone to get hurt. So this man needs to be stopped.

Mr. Cooper met me on a Sunday since that is my only day off work. He was incredibly easy to deal with and patient with me while I went over the vehicle I was interested in. There was no pressure to buy at all. I got a solid used vehicle for an excellent price. I would definitely deal with him again.

I’m going to add to all this. They had an FJ cruiser for sale I was interested in. I live far from their “dealership” if you can even call a muddy front yard that, and asking for pictures of the frame and inside the engine bay. He said he doesn’t have any and that I would have to come look at it. I explained that it’s too far to drive to get there and discover it’s a rust bucket. He said “ Whew that’s too far to come ..”. To some that may not be a warning. However to a car guy, that’s a big warning. That means he doesn’t want to send pictures of a product he knows has problems (rust). Listen to the other people and go somewhere else.

This place was awful I drove 2 1/2 hours after talking to the owner the car he said on our phone conversation was in great shape . It was a total mess the ck.engine lite on bad oil leaks something dangling from the radiator, that when I asked what it was he asked if I pulled it lose. He was very rude and the car was extremely over priced. He wasted my time and gas don't let them wast yours. I can't believe he is still in business. I give him a dubble thumbs down.

my dad just bought a 2002 toyota tacoma from him less than a week ago. He took it today to get shocks put on it. He was informed that they could not do it because it was rusted out so bad. What kind of business owner has someone spray an under coating to cover up the rust !!!!

I suggest anyone who has had problems with this owner contact the attorney general . I am. Who sprays the under the vehicle to hid a bad rusted out frame. He should not have a business license!!!

Husband and I drove 3 hours to purchase a Ford F-350 Diesel for $15k yesterday (paid cash) next day less than 24 hours truck started smoking, mechanic advised to take back or get new motor. Among other issues, When contacting Mr. Cooper he insinuated my husband did something to the truck, followed by the words “Sue Me”... new motor is going to cost thousands. RUN AS FAST AS U CAN FROM THIS DEALER!!!!! Always go with your first mind, had a bad feeling but didn’t want to break husbands spirit, he was excited.

Drove 3 hours to get one of his trucks. Called him on the phone and asked if anything was wrong with it. He said nothing was wrong. Had some dents and scratches but was all good besides that. Got there and not only the one I was going to get but 3 others also had rust all under them. And 3 out of the 4 I looked at had oil leaks. “Guys a crook.”
