“It is late February and I ordered 12 big blue stem and 20 little blue stem grass plugs but they all looked like this when I got them. The big blue are brown soggy and have no green stems. I ordered 20 little blue stem and those had some green stems. The nursery responded to my inquiry about plant health and said they are dormant and asked that I plant them in their final resting place and then allow 5-6 weeks for growth. The roots did look pretty good so I’m thinking that should work. I will update on how they do in about 2 months. I wanted to share this in case other customers receive dormant plants so that they will understand the process.”
