The Econo Lodge is a business currently undergoing renovations and improvements to its rooms and property. Many guests describe it as a nice, clean, and peaceful non-smoking facility. Reviews note that the rooms are clean, smell good, and provide comfortable beds, hot water, good air conditioning, and televisions, though some furniture is acknowledged as being out of date. The front desk staff and management are frequently described as kind, welcoming, professional, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring a positive and safe stay. Safety is emphasized, with the hotel being a smoke and drug free environment monitored by security cameras inside and out, 24/7. Doors are locked at night for security, and visitor policies are enforced after 9pm to ensure a quiet atmosphere. The location is noted for its walkability to several nearby restaurants. Management actively addresses criticisms, clarifying that some negative feedback stems from guests who violated policies, such as smoking, causing damage, or attempting to exceed occupancy without paying additional fees. They stress that the hotel is safe and that false allegations are recorded and handled with authorities. A cash deposit is required for stays. While most reports are positive, citing good vibes and improvement, there are isolated complaints about cleanliness and customer service resolution. The business aims to provide a respectful environment for all valued guests.
The rooms and linens are clean. The place smells good. They are still making improvements but I was happy with my room. Everyone working there was so very kind and welcoming, very refreshing to be honest. I enjoyed my stay.

I haven’t stayed here I a few years, but when I did, with the exception of one time, I never had any problems. The manager at the time was Tonya who was very nice. I am glad that renovations are being done because I plan to visit in the Fall and hopefully reservations will be available again.

Depressing and ran down. Stairwell looks like you're in prison and the hallways belong in a mental institution. Never been so sure there was hidden camera in the rooms. Plus side it didn't have bed bugs, and the beds are ok...but the hotel needs to be shut down and bulldozed.
