Dear O’Reilly Customer Service,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent experience at one of your stores.
Earlier today, my father went to the store to purchase a gas refill kit. When he brought it home and attempted to use it, we discovered that the cylinder had clearly been used. Approximately 3-4 hours later, I returned to the store to request an exchange or refund. However, the interaction at the store was extremely unprofessional.
The cashier consulted the assistant manager, but it was unclear what the assistant manager actually said. The cashier even remarked, “The assistant manager didn’t assist to manage,” which I found both inappropriate and unhelpful. I politely explained that I understood they might think we used the product, but we were in fact sold a used item — and if we had actually used it, we wouldn’t be coming back to buy another one. Unfortunately, my explanation seemed to fall on deaf ears.
Even worse, a fellow customer who noticed my distress attempted to advocate on my behalf, only to be dismissed by the staff with a disrespectful, “You don’t even work here,” delivered in a condescending tone.
In the end, I had no choice but to purchase a new gas kit. I am now stuck with an empty, nonrefundable $50 cylinder sitting in my car — a frustrating reminder of the poor service I received.
I am extremely disappointed by how a large company like O’Reilly could allow such unprofessional conduct in one of its locations. Based on this experience, I do not intend to shop at O’Reilly again unless this issue is solved.

I bought Auto Ac gas kit this morning, when I got home. I tried to use it but I saw that it was empty. I asked my daughter to return it. She went back there to return it and told them that it was empty, they told her they cannot help. İt was very unethical from such a big company to sell used materials and not even try to listen to their costumers complains. It was very disappointing.

Don't know the kid's name but I can tell you this I had about great experience there just. It was only there to purchase a headlight but through having pretty awful experiences at other stores well then probably even one of their stores it was just smooth it was polite you didn't act like I was bothering him about eating in the store he didn't act like any of my questions were stupid it was an overall cool experience.

The gentleman at the register was a bit pushy on buying certain products,and then yelled at me like a child when I grabbed the wrong thing.
