“A couple of months ago, our mail carrier came to our house to tell me that he had accidentally hit our dog down on our county road. He was very upset and worried. I went with him to find the dog. By the time I got there, he had already called his supervisor. The mail carrier had other mail to deliver, so I told him to go on. His supervisor was here very shortly. I hadn't taken my phone, so the supervisor called my husband for me. He stayed with me until my husband got here. It was our and our dog's fault, not the fault of the mail carrier. Both the mail carrier and his supervisor were very kind and caring. Our dog is recuperating. I just want to thank and praise those two men! Pat Rush 6277 County Road 422 Savannah, MO 64485”
“I visit the downtown post office here in St. Joseph Mo once a month. Never ever have I experienced anything but excellent service. I don't review often but after reading so many negative reviews, I had to chime in. I'm not from St Joseph but from Kansas City. I've lived here for 24 yrs. You have no idea how personal your service is compared to a large city.”

“The people here are pretty friendly. I get money orders here and they were actually out of them a couple months ago..that's wacky. I also had no idea people still bought stamps...haven't they heard of email or automatic bill pay? Well hmm..I'm buying money orders so I'm still in the 80's too.”
