Honestly the place is super easy to work with, very reliable and nice vehicles, they even have 12 passenger vans. They are open on Sunday's as well!

After having a really bad experience with the Lindbergh location AND the customer support line, I was SO RELIEVED to rent my moving truck from this location. The owner made sure I was on the road quickly after arriving, thoroughly went through estimated costs with me, and was accommodating to my schedule, as they closed at 1. Really just a stand up guy, doing business the right way. Will use for all my future truck rentals.

I had reserved a small suv from the Arnold mo location. I stopped by the location and was told there were no suv available until 4:00or 4:30. The man working the counter took our name and number and was going to call is when the suv was returned. We waited until 4:30 with no phone call so we drive back up to the rental office. Upon arriving there were no SUV's in the lot. He tried giving us a smaller vehicle. When I asked about the SUV's that were being returned he said they were already returned and giving to another customer. When I asked why he didn't call like he says he would be said we don't hold cars ?? Then why did you take our name and number and said you would call ... to which he had no answer. Needless to say we were left without a rental and scrambling to leave on our vacation. I have rented from budget for years and have never had such bad customer service. Even when I called customer service and was supposed to have a return call within 24 hours .. I never even got that call. I will do my best to never rent from budget again. The customer service was horrible!! It was a horrible way to start my vacation. I was told no other location would honor the price I was originally was quoted and was told it would be 200.00 more but no other location had the size vehicle we reserved. It's amazing to me you reserve a vehicle weeks prior and I was told you can rent any size car you won't online but we can give you whatever we have in the lot. Make completely no sense ...So beware renting from budget in Arnold Missouri. Horrible horrible horrible customer!!!!UPDATE ....I wanted tell you about my experience this past weekend with the budget location in Arnold, Missouri. I previously wrote about horrible service I had at that location. I wanted to tell you that the new manager at this location is a 100% improvement. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but he told me he was just transferred to this location. He. I was professional and very personable. He showed that he cares about the company and I truly appreciate having a good customer experience especially after the douchebag who was working there had 0% customer service skills. Visiting from California and rented a car well in advance, prepaid and everything. We find out the day of that guess what, they have no cars. Sorry, we can't do anything about it either. No, it doesn't matter that you paid in full. No, we can't get a car from another location, in fact, we can't even call. You can, dear customer who gave us your money, but good luck with that. We ask to cancel and when they transfer us to Customer Service- we learn that we can have a refund, but we will also get it pay a fee for canceling. Uh, we have to pay extra for not getting to rent a car!? Gee Budget, you really know how to charm a girl. My pleasant disposition did get the cancel fee waived, but my refund was returned over two payments and took well over a week. Enterprise was across the street and took care of us. Save your budget and go across the street.

People there are nice, but they don't know really what they are doing. I had to extend my rental for 7 more days and was told that it was only going to be an extra $256.70. Turned out it was $417.96. Imagine thinking that your total bill was going to be $475.19 but it really was $632.58. When I called the 800 number I was told I'm s*** out of luck.
