So we drove 4 hours to buy a vehicle we made a deal on Facebook. But when I showed up the place looked very sketchy and trashy. I just didn't feel right. So after looking the vehicle over I decided not to buy from him. He then tried to guilt me into buying. I wouldn't change my mind. After we left he then sent me and my wife rude texts. I wish I would of read reviews first.

If u don’t have at least $1500 to make repairs to the vehicle don’t bother purchasing from them. They are very nice but sell cars with many issues, will not negotiate on price and at least in my case offer no type of warranty. You’d do better just spending more upfront somewhere else

Dan and Kim are absolutely amazing! Took less than an hour to have a new car, they explained everything very well, and I couldn't be more happy to have worked with them!

They sold me a great cat for a fair price. They worked hard to get me financing as well

Had the car less than a month and already put over $500 in repairs. Three lights came on a week into driving it. Beware!

If you want a lemon, this is the place to shop. I’ve been waiting 6 months for him to get my check engine light go off. It took over a month for me to get my title. Everything I asked him about on the car has been a lie. The prices are good, but the cars are junk.

Brad Hoff helped me find a great first car for my teenage daughter and couldn't be happier with the entire experience! Highly recommend anyone to use Brad and we definitely will in the future!

Of all places I pull into it had to be here! I am so glad I trusted my instincts as soon as I saw Dan and decided to avoid him and do some homework first.Turns out not only is he one of the rudest people I have ever had to serve at work, I happen to know a few people who have had the misfortune of buying here. In my interactions with him, he has acted like an adolescent. When he demandlying doesn't get his way when asking things we simply can not do, he thinks it's appropriate to belittle everyone in the build and tell myself and others that he have our job, or he'll meet us outside,However, apparently he can't seem to sell a car that isn't a lemon ready to break down. If you try to hold him accountable for his actions, he either screams and yells at you, or avoids your phone calls all together.Again, I am glad after seeing him I did my homework first!

Bought a car from Direct Automotive for my 16 year old son. Before purchasing, noticed it was having an intermittent oil pressure light come on. Kim claimed she took it to a Volkswagen dealership and they replaced a factory sensor and the problem was no more. Come to find out, It was never taken to Volkswagen. "Her guy" looked at it and changed an aftermarket oil pressure sensor. Immediately the car started having oil pressure problems again. Kim was receptive at first and even had me bring the car back so "her guy" could look at it.Supposedly, he did something to correct the issue. However then it was now leaking oil...about a quart a day. Turns out "her guy" stripped the oil plug. I had that repaired at my own expense. Still the oil pressure problem persists. Responses to texts and messages started getting further and further apart until they just stopped completely. I have been ghosted by her entirely now.Today the ignition column has completely locked up and the car will not start. Completely stranding my 16 year old across town. I now have to have this POS towed to a repair shop to repair that so it can at least be started again. Having that same repair shop look into the oil pressure issues as well. I don't even want to know what that will cost. Payed $11k for an 11 year old car that I now have to pump $thousands more into, 3 months after purchasing.Do not get taken by this place. Buy from someone else.

I've had the non-pleasure of working with the owner, Dan, on multiple occasions in my place of work. Needless to say he is rude, acts like a 3 year old throwing tantrums when things do not go his way, threatens my coworkers and tells them to "meet him in the parking lot," mind you most of these people are very young. He won't hesitate to cuss you out the second he decides he doesn't like you. Just overall, probably one of the worst human beings I've ever encountered. I wouldn't go to his business if it was my absolute last option just based off of how I've seen him treat other people in the same profession as he is - customer service. "Dan the scratcher man" is a complete a-hole that will try to take advantage of you and your situation.

***USED CAR BUYERS BEWARE*** We purchased a 2011 Chevy Cruze in July 2021. We were informed of prior heating issues that had been resolved with the car before purchasing. We were encourage to buy a warranty with the car (you wouldn't think of this as a bad thing but beware as the warranty company is garbage). 5 months go buy and upon leaving dinner the car overheats. We pull over, turn off the car, and wait before turning the car on and seeing it's no longer overheating to leave. Immediately the next day we take it to a mechanic, who has been our families mechanic for years. He informs us that he believes the head gasket may have been blown but upon further inspection notices the engine block is extensively warped and the engine needs to be replaced. This warping he said had seemed to take place long before we had the car in our possession. We did not have the money for this extensive of a repair as we just purchased the car and had a $7k loan on it. Dan, the owner, agrees to help us buy a used engine for the car without us having to pay for installation labor as a "family discount" (as he is friends with a family member of mine). This family discount would keep our car in his possession for 3 MONTHS as the excuses and issues poured in with his mechanic, finding time to repair the car, and even sending me photos of him/mechanic in the hospital dealing with issues. Who does that? I wanted the car back and that's not how you communicate when you're having issues. Issue after issue would arrive with the car. Fast forward as the 3 months come to a close and the engine is finally installed. Now we are informed that the car needs a new turbocharger and the warranty won't cover that either ($4K of total repairs and this warranty doesn't cover ANY OF IT). After another repair of a water pump, we are now told to pick up the car from his mechanic, Aaron, whom informs me immediately of picking it up that there are many more problems with it and that it should be traded in asap. Not to mention the attitude he had when all we wanted was the car back since it was gone for THREE MONTHS. So we drive this car home, after it being gone for a total of 3 months with Aaron, and discover the hood lever is broke (which the hood won't open), the interior has alcohol bottles + empty cigarette boxes, and the trunk is filled with old pieces from the repair. Were we not supposed to take this personally? The car over heats on the way home with the check engine light almost immediately turning on. 3 months and thousands of dollars for a promised fix only to be back at square one. This car saw 5 months of function before completely falling apart and having us spend more on the car than we ever could have imagined. We lost thousands of dollars and months of our lives we will NEVER get back. If we would have known that this purchase would have gone this way we would have NEVER gone to Direct Automotive. This car didn't even last 6 months but we will be haunted by it's existence and in debt for years to come. Please do yourself a favor and find a more reputable dealer. These cars have the ability to destroy your life and I refuse to let another customer go unaware as we know how it felt to stuck in a hard situation.

Be prepared to spend thousands of dollars in repairs within the first few months of owning. This has amounted to $3,300. I don't expect perfection when buying a used car. However, I also don't expect to spend 41% of the purchase price within a few months of purchasing in order for the vehicle to run properly.I contacted Kim to see if they would do anything to help as it's clear that they don't properly inspect the vehicles prior to selling as these mechanical issues could have been identified by Kim and Dan prior to them putting it on the lot. I first messaged them on Facebook and was told I would receive a call the next day. They didn't call as promised so I contacted them directly. I was told by Kim that she would check with their mechanic to get a cheaper price as she believed the repairs I was quoted were over priced. I have texted her twice in the last week and she has not responded. This tells me that they don't care and they don't stand behind their transactions. This is not a reputable company to do business with. Do not purchase a vehicle from them as you will overpay and will be stuck with thousands in repairs. Don't make the mistake I did. Find a dealer that will sell you a vehicle that won't require very costly repairs within the first few months of owning.
