The outside and I side of the Arnold store is just filthy. They sell a lot and there is no reason to have such a dirty and messy store.

I was in line at the checkout, when I overheard the lady who handles the greeting cards tell the checker that a man was slumped over in a car. The checker told her that management wouldn't call because she didn't want any trouble. When I got outside, I saw that my husband was on the phone with 911. We waited till emergency responders could take care of the man. It was obvious that something terrible was wrong! My husband called the manager, and she denied it, but then took credit for calling 911. My husband quickly shut her down and stated that he was the one who called emergency services to get this man help! She said, "they're here now." My husband then told her that we would not return to their store again, to which she replied,"Okay, mhmmm," and she hung up! She was so rude, and she showed blatant disregard for human life! We are disgusted! She didn't call 911, because she didn't want trouble! What?

Today, Sept. 6th, 2023, we witnessed a disturbing sight. The two of us, plus three other partons, were in the store when we heard the checker telling people that a guy in his car was slumped over and not responsive. She said the manager didn't want to call 911 because she didn't want any trouble. We ran outside to find the man unresponsive. We called 911, and they were there quickly. After we called 911, we called the store, and the manager answered. She was very rude when she answered. She said the police and rescue team were there, and I said, yes, because I called them. She got quiet. I told her I couldn't believe she would not call or let her employees call 911 for this elderly man. This was a very disturbing situation. She then asked what I needed. I simply said we would never be back to that location, then she said okay and hung up. There are two of us who called corporate so far (left a message). We exchanged numbers with the other three people who are willing to get involved, as well. The five of us are going to spread this all over the internet, and possibly call our local news. We know the world has become more hateful, but this... It's very disturbing to know a manager of a store could be so cruel and uncaring about another human life. The store address is 3890 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO. 63010. An email has been sent to corporate, and two VM messages were left. The lady that stocked the cards told me, when I was calling 911, that he had been sitting there like that for at least an hour. We are going to check on the elderly man's condition tomorrow morning.
