My husband and I worked with Jason in the window and door department . Even though Home Depot did not have what we needed they referred us to another place that could help us . Jason even called a few weeks later to see if we found what we needed. And I told him we did at Pease Glass in Indiana . They offer replacement glass for your front door and side lights which updated our 30 year old door to the farmhouse look..Everyone at Arnold Missouri is very helpful.

Where are all the employees? It's literally a miracle if you find someone that can help, that have the coveted saw or lift license, and you actually have the item in stock! What is going on with anything you search out online that not only tells you the store has it but gives you the aisle and the bin but the items never there and when you get an employee to help you they just tell you that the inventories off or that we miraculously sold six dozen of those this morning. Why is it that the website can tell you that things are available but they're not available in the store? is the update for inventory only taking place once a year. Personally, I find that there are more people that work there that appear to be doing some type of change outs or shelf management then there are actual people assigned to departments. The pro desk seems to have a person or two all the time, and they have a cashier so I guess if you're a contractor and you're spending tens of thousands of dollars they got you covered.but there's very rarely a guy in the wood department or the hardware department for tools or in flooring or electrical. I find there's generally an assigned cashier and a person working over in the garden area. I guess if you need to be checked out you're gonna have to stop by the pro desk or at the other end of the store in the garden area, because there are no actual registers Anymore that a person will check you out unless you want to do it yourself through the self check aisle. I love going there it's pretty much the adult male toy store but if you never have the item in your sales flyer and you never have the item on your website that says it's in the store and no one's going to help you find it because they're not licensed to go up high and look at anything. What's the point of stopping by there It's gotten to be pretty sad. I've literally seen more employees smoking in the parking lot than I've seen in the store before.

Home depo sucks I spend thousands of dollars in there we even bought new doors from there and they didn't start of them didn't even cut the outside of the doors my son had passed away in the meantime so we never even looked at the outside until One year later I mean oh my god the money that we spent on the stores we bought five of them and they were installed in properly no installation on the outside to keep the cold from coming in green it was a year but the thousands of dollars that we spend in that store and they couldn't even send somebody out to do the job properly because that guy no longer work there the contract of the job out be Bs I've had trouble with two leaf blowers that I bought in there And because I couldn't find my receipt they treated me like I was a thief but then when they looked at my card and then they didn't even apologise didn't even apologise and I'm still pissed about the stores I wouldn't recommend Homedpote to anyone

I bought a door last night and I asked to have it cut and an employee cut it and the door did not fit. I took it back today to have more of the door shaved off and was told it’s against policy so I tried to return it seeing as I don’t have a saw at home and door is useless to me if it doesn’t fit and they said I couldn’t return it because it was cut…. BY THEM. The manager was very unprofessional and the customer service was absolutely ridiculous. I used to work there and spend quite a bit of money there weekly. I’ll never go back and plan to do everything in my power to make sure others know this story and hopefully direct them somewhere else. This was an absolutely ridiculous experience.

I purchased carpet today. I had been there previously to choose it. I was helped by Collin who was very knowledgeable. He spent time and knew about every carpet sample that I asked about. He was very friendly, too. When I went in today Collin was getting ready to get off work but he stayed to get my paperwork together, then Mike took over. He was great too. Also very knowledgeable.

Not enough staff, and the workers are overwhelmed with how busy this store can get. Long wait times to get an appliance ordered. When delivery day comes a month later, you find out they are out of stock.

We had a tough time getting a toilet when ordering online and shipping to the house it was damaged all over so we ordered this time and had them shipped to the store in Arnold. Courtney and Dick at the returns desk were awesome. Friendly faces, helpful attitudes and made sure we could easily open and check all pieces before leaving the store! Great exchange experience! Thanks y’all!

I ordered carpet from Home Depot. They contract out to Superior Flooring. A month ago prior to having the carpet installed we had our whole house painted. When they installed the carpet the tore up all the corners of the outer walls, not just at the floor but over half way up the walls. Superior says it is Home Depot's problem. So I call Home Depot and no one wants to talk with me. Or return phone calls. DO NOT BUY CARPET FROM HOME DEPOT.

Was in need of a new dryer stat.. I am aware most places ship but some also have them in stock. I walked in Home Depot to shop and was met with rudeness. I looked around before I asked a employee and found some that were priced ok and the "reduced take homes" I was sent the this "lovely" lady Lynn. I asked if there were any available for take home today. Lynn replied absolutely NOT. You will have to wait a week out for delivery. I replied ok well then I will go someplace else. She replies good luck its like that everywhere.... WELL Lynn, I did go to a few other places and Lowes had a selection of Dryers in stock and I took my new GE home. I will not be shopping for any appliances or major purchases at my local Home Depot...

I went into this store today 7-2-20. They didn’t really have what I needed or let’s say could not find it. Their sale add was very misleading. I purchased over $400 worth of merchandise. I am disabled so it took me awhile to get the stuff out to my car and loaded into my car. All of a sudden I look up and a worker is taking a picture of my license plate and me. I cannot recommend a store that does not take my safety seriously. They want employees to wear facial coverings but it is a joke when the employees at customer service either had it around their neck or only barely covering their mouths like Tyler did. Not only was he clueless on safety but he must have skipped customer service training as he didn't offer a greeting or even say thank you. Too busy invested in his conversation with his co-worker to care about the customer. No thanks.

During this pandemic, you guys and gals have been absolute amazing!! Let's just say I went to one of your competitors a few weeks back and they were horrible. I will always shop with you and recommend you to all my friends!!! People are probably wondering why your amazing and let me explain.....you count how many people come through your doors and stop letting people in when you have exceeded the max!! You sanitize your carts!! You have curbside pick up and all of mine have been the same day pickup!! Seriously, round of applause to you!! Thank you!!

Will never step foot in a Home Depot again. On our estimate, removal of carpet was included. The day the installers arrived, Home Depot wanted $1,800 more for removal of carpet. Even though it was in our estimate. They were unwilling to give us a break or even meet in the middle for a mistake on their end. I assure you I will spend way more than $1,800 on home improvements, but it will be at Lowe’s or our local home repair store. Never again will Home Depot get our money, especially the one in south county in St. Louis.

Terrible service. Ordered a dish washer online, it was delivered. The delivery guy dented the back of the dishwasher when it was delivered which I didn't notice at the time. . It was delivered on a Friday. I installed it on Sunday. The washer seemed used from the start, quarter gallon water in the machine, lastly front seal was broke. Called corporate Monday, they said I eclipsed the 48 hours return. Can't help. I then called the local Arnold location, where I was told no problem bring it in for a return. I show up and they gave me a hard time on returning and they said there would be a $75 return stocking fee. Place is unreal, boycottingHome Depot.
