So thankful for TH evening lessons for our 6-year-old grandaughter. She is skating on her own with just two lessons from Lexi, who was patient and kind but firm in her approach to students. I could see a difference in her confidence than that of the older children hugging the wall. We are grateful for the help to get her rolling!

This skating rink was a blast from the past. My daughter asked to go skating there and I was shocked because I have skated there before but hadn't been back since probably 1992 when I myself was 12. What a great place. Such GOOD fun!!!!

I wouldnt drop your child off here, the workers are rude, and down right abusive to the children. What i witnessed will be enough that me nore anyone i know will go there again. These adults running the show shouldnt legally be allowed to be around children. I saw the women raise her hand to a child, and my son said the man tryed to push him against the wall and was told he was calling the cops on him, all for accidentlly dropping his food. This review will be shared with plenty, including the people who need to know about this. You dont treat kids in that manor. And from reading the other reviews, their charactor shows as they seem to like to argue with kids online. Plenty of other rinks that actually treat paying customers with respect.

Rock Roll o Rena, the indoor roller skating haven in Imperial, MO, is like a time machine to the glory days of disco and groovy tunes. As soon as you step in, you'll be greeted by flashing lights, a DJ spinning tracks that'll transport you straight to the '70s, and a kaleidoscope of colorful roller skaters swirling around the rink. It's like entering a retro roller-disco dreamland. The staff is super friendly and helps make sure you're rollin' and groovin' without a hitch. Whether you're showing off your smooth moves or just trying to stay upright, you're in for a hilarious time, and you might even witness some epic wipeouts (don't worry, it's all in good fun!).So, if you're looking for a blast from the past and a night of boogie-on-wheels, Rock Roll o Rena is the place to be. Get your disco skates on and let the good times roll!

Best rink around the area in terms of the floor and the skates but rollercade has better employees. If u have ur own skates go to rollercade cuz these guys will literally whistle at u for going fast even if there's nobody in front of u. Their definition of to fast isn't good either. I've gone a certain speed and made eye contact with the employee multiple times and had nothing but then all the sudden 1 random time he whistles and after 3 they decide if they want to kick u out or not. The floor and skates r great but the employees bring it down to a 2 star. Imagine how good it'd be if they'd just let u do wat u wanted to do.

The owner and his team are super kind and they keep the place clean! The skating floor itself is super polished, and they have kept the nostalgic feeling with older signage in the cafe, which is super cool! The disco lights are bright and fun and the air conditioner will you keep you nice cold while skating. Definitely recommend checking them out!Photos by: @joshandlindseyphoto

The staff is very rude especially the older woman who works there. She had told me to shut up when I was explaining that the bathroom stalls in the women’s restroom do not lock and had ended up kicking me and my friend out because one of the staff had said my friend looked like she was going into the same stall as me when she had accidentally bumped my stall door open as I was getting ready to get out of the stall( the stalls do not lock you can literally lean against any of the stalls and it’ll open ) the place is very dirty and they do not regulate anything about safety or privacy ESPECIALLY in the bathrooms. They charge over price for food that should cost $5. This place is going down hill and all of the staff is just horrible I will never being coming back here and this is not a safe place to bring your kids. Multiple creepy old men have came in for example one time my friend was sitting at a table eating and a older man (40’s) had sat next to her and started hitting on her and the staff didn’t anything to protect her and didn’t even throw the guy out, they genuinely do not care about their customers. If I could this place zero stars I 100 percent would.

Great staff. You can trust them to watch out for your kiddos. This place gets crazy busy and they still smile and treat you kindly throughout your visit. My kids favorite place to go!

TLDR great staff, floor, equipment.Great rental skates, the floor is well maintained and the lights are all in working order. The staff is great with kids. They have a designated floor supervisor that keeps traffic away from fallen people, with a child that is learning how to skate it's a really nice added benefit. in these days of everyone cutting payroll it's say a lot about their commitment to a family friendly rink. The food was fairly priced. They sold Gatorade which after skating was much needed. They also have a great arcade section that gives you physical tickets, the dopamine rush of the ticket spewing out is a great nostalgic feeling.

So much fun! Really loved the atmosphere. Family friendly. The workers really care about the safety of kids making sure they have a ride outside and encouraging them to stay in the building if they are waiting for a ride.

This is a nice place to skate. The staff is professional, friendly and provide a safe atmosphere to skate in. The skate guards did a good job protecting those that fall and the staff was very nice and made sure to greet everyone as they left. The place is packed and very busy with lots of very young kids learning to skate on the floor (this was Sunday 2-4pm). There are 4 entry/exits in the rink. This does cause a little bit of congestion when skating around as you have skaters darting in front of you to 4 different exits. Some re-designing or assignment on the entry/exits could alleviate some of these occurrences. I really liked the idea of bleachers when looking at the virtual tour on the website, but families there were using mainly the front row of bleachers and it made the pathway difficult to pass through. I would maybe entertain moving the bleachers back or replacing with a few benches or move the DJ booth which would make room in your walkway near the skate rentals. I'm 41 now and I can remember learning how to skate at the age of 8, I used the carpeting to practice and learn balance on the skates before getting in the rink. Here there isn't much space for that. A thought for all skating rinks in St. Louis, have a separate rink for beginners. I really wanted my wife to get out and skate more but she was worried she might accidently run over one of the many children falling down all over the rink. Also when children are on the rink, fluids seem to follow and that made this really nicely kept wood floor very slick. I had to catch myself a few times from sliding on wet spots. I hope these suggestions are useful to the owners and this review gives some insight to those looking to skate in a decent rink. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend going here to skate. I'm looking forward to an adult night here in the future.

We had the kids school skate night here on Valentine's day. It's still a pretty neat place with good staff. The kids had a blast!

If hosting a birthday party here “and having extra guests” I would not recommend. They charged us $18 per extra birthday kid when genereal admission is $11… when asked for an explanation they said it was due to seating. We paid for our own food and drinks for the party separate so it wasn’t that. I would understand that but the seating was designated to one middle table that seats 8 people. We shared a small area with 2 other birthday parties. Plus the kids that were there for open skate took tables and seats. While cutting my kids birthday cake I had a kiddo that was here for open skate start yelling at me for throwing his soda away.. it was kind of funny but for the record I did not throw his soda away. Just very crowded and chaotic! The staff was honestly very kind but just too busy to really explain or answer questions, pizza was good, area was nice just not somewhere I would recommend for a birthday party. We ended up spending almost $500 for 19 people.
