The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center

Thrift Stores, Used, Vintage & Consignment
Hours: The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a popular destination for those seeking bargains and supporting a worthy cause. The store sells donated items, with the proceeds used to fund the organization's Adult Rehabilitation Centers, where those struggling with addiction can find help and a second chance at life. While the reviews mention some positive experiences, such as finding "treasures" and the kindness of the management, there are also concerns raised about the pricing of the items. Some customers feel that the prices are higher than they should be, with used clothing and other items being priced at levels that seem unreasonable. There are also complaints about the organization and presentation of the merchandise, making it difficult for shoppers to find what they need. Overall, the Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center appears to be a mixed experience, with the potential for great deals and a meaningful contribution to a valuable cause, but also some frustration with the pricing and organization of the store. Customers are advised to keep an open mind and be prepared to negotiate or search carefully for the best finds.
