About Arrow Rock State Historic Site
Arrow Rock State Historic Site is a terrific and charming place with a very cute little historic town filled with rich history. The campground is beautiful, well maintained, clean, and roomy with nice mature trees. Sites have a fire pit and picnic table, and some have enough space for multiple tents. The bath house and restrooms with showers are nice and located conveniently. The museum is fascinating, and the well-preserved tavern is one of the best historical places. A play at the Lyceum Theatre is great fun. The staff and people are delightful, wonderful, very friendly, experienced, helpful, and amazing. There are excellent walks, but visitors should perform tick checks and bring bug spray. The cost is very inexpensive and well worth much more. It is a wonderful place to explore and is highly recommended, with many planning to return or make a yearly overnight trip.
