Ava Area Chamber of Commerce

Hours: The Ava Area Chamber of Commerce is a cornerstone of the community, going strong after 85 years of service. Established to promote local businesses, tourism, and industry, it furthers community growth and development. It is described as one of the town's most valuable assets and an inspiration to everyone. It is the place to go for information about Ava and the surrounding area, whether for new or long-time residents, visitors, or business owners. The office is easily accessed and open daily. The lobby has an extensive display of printed material, including a Community Guide and Business Directory. The staff is wonderful, lovely, and always eager to help, having the answer to virtually any question and willing to share expertise. The Chamber is very much involved in the community through monthly luncheons, ribbon cuttings, welcome packets, banquets, and more. The monthly meetings are well-run, organized, and offer great spirit and networking. This active role is accomplished through the support of its members, a dedicated Board of Directors, and the financial partnership of the City of Ava. With steady growth, current membership is at 240 and climbing. Ava just wouldn't be the same without the Chamber's support, resources, and leadership.
