“This is a solid pharmacy. Since they are part of the national chain, I am always able to get my prescriptions as an out of state client because they have any access to my records. The employees there have treated me well.My only complaint is that the pharmacist does not automatically speak to with a new prescription, which is something I receive at other Walgreens. That said, you can ask for the discussion (but I wish I didn't have to).”

“This is an old style, small town pharmacy--not one of the superstores that offer everything from prescriptions to sporting goods to mini food markets. However, though it's not mentioned on the exterior, this druggist carries Walgreens branded merchandise. The corporate website also lists it as one of their stores. Staff were friendly and considerate: I stopped in to buy a required face mask I'd forgotten for a client visit and I was offered a simple mask for free. A food counter, once popular for quick meals, no longer operates and I was told it probably wouldn't reopen due to government regulations.”

I want to sincerely thank the Ava Walmart Pharmacy team, especially the lead pharmacist on duty around 5:30 pm on February 3rd.

I came in to pick up a prescription that I found out Medicaid wouldn’t cover and was told the out-of-pocket cost was very expensive. As I was trying to figure out what to do, the lead pharmacist overheard the situation and stepped in, asking the tech to check for any discounts available. They were able to find one that brought the price down to something more manageable for me.

I’d been feeling unwell and having a rough day, and that simple act of awareness and kindness meant more than I can easily put into words. Everything was handled professionally, quickly, and with genuine care.
