The teachers are caring, dedicated, and truly invested in each child’s growth. The director is wonderful and always supportive, and the curriculum is engaging, well-planned, and educational.

All four of my children have attended Elegant Child from the age of one all the way up to kindergarten. One of them also attended kindergarten there during the Covid pandemic. We have been thrilled with the care that they have provided and feel that they have properly prepped our kids for elementary school as well. Right now our youngest is thriving in his classroom and loves to go to school each day. His teachers are kind, loving and attentive and make the day fun. He is treated with great care! He also has learned how to hold a pencil properly and write his name- among other things. He enjoys the different classes they provide- cooking, STEM, etc. and lots of outdoor time. We feel blessed to have such a wonderful school close by.

Couldn't be happier with Elegant Child. From the students, administrative staff, teachers and the entire campus, my child looks forward to going to school daily. The teachers always take the kids best interests first and change tasks each day to ensure new fun activities. Extremely happy I enrolled my child here.

CPS was called because the caregiver from the report was “slamming his head onto his cot” and also putting “her full body weight onto the children” the teacher was not removed and the faculty did nothing about it and we had to switch daycares as we did not feel safe sending our child here any longer. There was more in the CPS report but it involved other children. I would stay far away from this place if you care about your children.

I love working there Jim Chelsea and Gloria all are fantastic supervisors and Julie is an amazing boss I absolutely love working with my colleagues it is an amazing school

Both of my kids really enjoy EC. They love their teachers, their friends, the staff and all of the fun activities during the school year and over summer. Additionally, the teachers and staff have been so supportive over the years as I have navigated some of the challenges that parenthood brings. There have been some changes, but at the end of the day, my kids are still happy and they foster a nice sense of community and care for the kids.

Don’t trust any reviews prior to 2023. I used to love sending my kids here. Now I am counting down the hours until they graduate to a real school. The new ownership group is not fit to run an ice cream stand, much less a facility responsible for caring for children. FDA violations, staffing issues, horrible communication…zero stars & two thumbs down.

Honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place!!! There is nowhere better to educate and love your kiddos. Absolutely top notch.

It’s a wonderful daycare. They have separate play grounds for different age groups. A splash pad in the summer, greenhouse, cooking class and much more. The teachers are great. My children have been there the past 6 years and will be there for the next 3.

Our 3 yr old loved being in here. This is one of the best daycare in ballwin. Teachers and staff's are always full of energy.
