I’m Janet Hilario, it’s been a year and I still feel disappointed at the abuse this company did to my family. They stole more than $2,000 dollars from our credit card because we canceled the order. We were waiting for more than three months because they didn’t have the appliances. They said “ our policies …” they do NOT return all the money, they kept more than $2,000 dollars. Be careful with GOEDEKER’S.

Bought a two-drawer, under-cabinet freezer from Goedecker's to store popsicles for parties. The center bar that separates the top drawer from the bottom drawer randomly detached from the left side preventing either drawer from closing without manual intervention. I reached out to them for help for this manufacture defect, and they told me to reach out to the manufacturer, which I did, who then told me that it was the problem of the dealer, Goedecker's. Their customer support is abhorent with short one sentence email replies, no assistance, nothing. Goedeker's doesn't stand by their product, and they definitely don't stand by their customers.

Sold us a "new" dishwasher that was dented like it had fallen off a truck and was wet/dirty inside. They refused to replace it because we signed when the delivery person, who was in a hurry, dropped it off in a completely damage free box(clearly it was packaged with the damage and did not sustain it during shipment). I 100% advise you to NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY!

Purchased all new appliances for my sons co-op. They were a great priced compared to others. The team was professional, installation was great and they were on time.

Ordered an icemaker, which arrived damaged. I immediately refused delivery and had it returned via their carrier. Upon contacting them they gave me the runaround from one person to another on the phone. Finally documented the damage with photos to their required address and receive no response. Multiple phone calls did nothing. Eventually had to file a complaint with my credit card company to get a refund. They refused to acknowledge or give me a refund, even though they have the ice maker back. They strung me out for months, holding my money. It eventually took three months to get the refund through a credit card complaint.

Horrible service we ordered a new Bosch microwave came in damaged in the Box when our contractor opened it up "" they said we waited to long but it had never been opened until the contractor came back to install it. Top frame was bent door not sealing and Styrofoam all broke up that it was packed in. They said they would send out a tech to repair the back tracked and said it wasn't their responsibility ughhhh told us to call Bosch who said it was Goedekers responsibility so we're out 1500 and a damaged microwave. We have pics of everything still they don't care. If this keeps one customer from not buying from Goedekers and losing their money then this long review was worth it. Please read reviews they have poor ratings, thanks for taking the time to read this

I ordered from this company online twice. The first time I had no issue with them. The company they had to deal with their warranty gave me issues. The second time around the order went smoothly. It's the warranty that they gave me issues with. According to them another company dealt with the warranty. I called said company and they had no record. After that it was so difficult to get in touch with Goedeker's. I was hung up on multiple times and no, I didn't yell or curse. They then said that my warranty was void because of a review on BBB that had a name that nothing to do with me. When I finally got on the phone with them they said it was because I hadn't registered my warranty which I never received any instructions or mail to do. They refunded my money for the warranty. It seems they were trying to get out of providing me with what I paid. Avoid that store.

HORRIBLE customer service. I am an investor and own many properties. I have never written a negative review. I have had such a bad experience, want to prevent others from having the same. They shipped a fridge to my house when I requested it be canceled and not delivered. Their 3rd party company dropped a fridge off without signature to a property I no longer live at. Goedekers wanted $600 to return it back to them. I have over 10 unanswered emails. Terrible company, terrible service. Mistakes are okay, but no response is not. Do not use them.

Be aware of is this company!We bought a table that came defective. They harassed me for months assuming that I am making up the issue. They won't take it back for months occupying space in my house and kept threatening us for collection if we dispose of the defective items. They have a pattern of harassing customers. 3 months on and we still have the items here. We got our money back by submitting a dispute to my credit card company. Never order again from these con business. I have a lawer in place to counter sue them if they are going for collection for their failure.

I ordered 5 major appliances from Goedeker's. They shipped the wrong stove to Santa Fe New Mexico, (elevation 7000 feet), not sending the version that works at higher altitude. In a very condescending way, they continue to assert that I ordered the wrong one, but never said that there are two versions available on their website. They are blaming me for not doing my homework, yet we had more than two conversations about the shipping address...and they also blame me for not knowing that the billing department is separate from the sales department, even though both are customer service. BAD ATTITUDE TOWARD CUSTOMER: Because I forgave them for the fact that a refrigerator I ordered in OCTOBER 2015 arrived in January 2016 [because the first one shipped was damaged by the trucking company, though nobody ever called me to tell me that (I felt Goedeker's were victims of an unfortunate circumstance too)], I thought they would give me some extra consideration, but they are not relenting at all in correcting the fact that I cannot use the stove they shipped (the burners don't light, even though you can smell gas and see and hear the spark). I mean, gas spews out and doesn't ignite. You can see and hear the spark as well...it's just the wrong version of the stove. It's dangerous. And we are talking about a $39 part and a service call to install it...after orders totaling more than $3000. You would think that a solid, honest company would share the responsibility and be courteous about the problem...at least meeting half-way, even though I don't think that's right. I'm gonna suck it up, but they will never get a recommendation from me, and I will never order from them again. BEWARE: THEY ACT LIKE THE WEBSITE IS SOME FOREIGN ENTITY AND THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IT...

I waited almost a year to receive my stove top(June 2021 and received it March 28th 2022). No updates on delivery, could never tell me. I had surgery and thank goodness my husband was home to bring it in because the fed ex guy could not lift it.I paid extra to have it installed when I ordered it in June. I called about them having someone install it and they kept telling me they would contact me. Well over two months I never heard anything so I finally had to call some guy at the main office and he told me they no longer had the contract to install them. I had to fight to have the money returned to me on the installation and then having to find someone to install it took extra time. Once I had someone come out and they opened it they saw before taking it out of the box that it would not fit. They would not let me return it since I was out of the 30 day return policy. None of this would have happened if I didn't have to call for months to find out about the installment being cancelled. Not one person told me about this being cancelled so they were going to keep that money. Now I m stuck with a stove top that doesn't fit and brand new. I could see it if it was defective or something but it has not even been out of the box. They need to be more flexible on the returns when this was not my fault about installing it and not so money hungry. I bought a refrigerator and it was much better but now I will no purchase from them again no matter how much I save. This is HORRIBLE representation of a company to do this and not let me know.

Product took 3 weeks longer than promised. No show on first delivery and install, second pro duct came damaged, but was assured they would repair at later date and install was done incorrectly(door wouldn’t shut and flap hanging off the bottom) third time tried to repair 2 days later it the correction fell apart. Third visit they appeared to have fixed it and now 5ish weeks later it fell apart again. Only 2 of us in the home and not here very often. You call customer service and they treat you horribly! Beware of this company.

The prices are good, freight delivery is good, but there is absolutely no customer service. I've ordered large appliances from them three times. The auto reply order confirmation is the only communication you can expect until the carrier contacts you to schedule delivery. The kitchen appliances I ordered last showed in stock but took many months to arrive. After four months I started trying to reach them for an update and they were non responsive. Eventually the order arrived but the wall oven came with the wrong trim kit so I reached out to Geodeker's for help and again, no response.

We had the most horrible experience with our washer and dryer purchase from Goedekers. Multiple problems with our gas dryer, one being a small leak that took them many weeks to fix. Did not seem to be a priority to them even though it was during the pandemic when we had a hospital worker and police officer living at our house. Hard to get your cloth dry when they we have to shut off the gas to the dryer. after what seemed like over a month they finally sent out the right tech and the problem was diagnosed as a leaky valve and it was corrected. They are not like the old day of excellent products and service. Those days are gone.
