Very good Norton, Chardonel is also good. There is an inviting atmosphere. Haven’t tried the food but everyone else’s looked awesome.

My wife and I went here for the first time recently in our week-long celebration of our 34th wedding anniversary. We loved EVERYTHING! The excellent wines, the delicious pizza, the beautiful atmosphere, and the wonderful family that owns and operates this amazing winery. You must try them! 6 Stars! ******

This place is a gem in Jefferson County! My family went there to celebrate a birthday and had the best time. The scenery, live music, and atmosphere were so welcoming and enjoyable. The owners were great, communicated well, and very helpful to ensure we had a great experience. Our family favorites to recommend are the Blush Wine, and Sangria (red or white can't go wrong!)There are also plenty of non-alcoholic options if you don't drink or are a designated driver. We are already planning a return trip and excited to introduce Persimmon Ridge Winery to friends and family.

My wife and I stopped here during our week long 34th anniversary celebration and we loved everything about this place! All of the wine we tasted was excellent, the brick oven pizza was delicious, the ambiance was perfect, and the service was amazing. The family that owns and operates the winery are the best. We will definitely be going back... for the Monster's Ball in October! Six Stars! ******

My husband and I visited recently, and we highly recommend this winery. It was warm outside, but the shade and fans made the 90+ temp a non-issue. The patio was very relaxing, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the music was perfect for the setting. Oh, the wine was great, too! An added bonus: Persimmon Ridge is much closer to St. Louis than many of the wineries are.

These hoosiers have no business being in service. They were very rude from the beginning of our horrible experience there. When you make a mistake, own it. Don't gaslight. Can't recommend Persimmon Ridge Winery. I'm sure that any favorable reviews you may read about this place are from the owners themselves, or their friends and family.

Went yesterday for a birthday party. One of the workers, could've been an owner but not sure, stopped me as I was driving down the road and was very ignorant telling me I couldn't park down there I had to turn around and park outside the premise. There was no need for him to be so unfriendly. All he had out were saw horses but no signage stating that there wasn't parking. Wine was really good. I had the sweet white wine. Property was very nice. Another lady in our party spent over $75 and was closing out her tab when she asked another lady in our party to go grab her cup of water to which she was scolded by the female employee "we don't allowed outside drinks, you need to take that to your car right now". Not that it mattered because she was leaving anyways. I can understand not wanting to allow people to bring outside drinks since they sell that stuff there, but she spent a decent amount of money. I will never be back.

If you're a designated driver looking to be responsible for your party or you simply do not drink alcohol but are attending an event for friends or family, be prepared to have little to zero options for non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, not only is management unsympathetic towards a person's reformations, they are incredibly rude to those who want something other than water or soda.I had a bottle of unsweetened tea since I do not prefer soda or water and was scolded by the female manager who was more concerned about earning profit than a person's reason for bringing an outside beverage in the venue. I wasn't even given the opportunity to explain why I had it. I could have had a medical reason and from how this so called "establishment" treated me I feel as though they would not fairly consider those with medical conditions or disabilities. My experience is from the perspective of someone who can't drink alcohol and I was treated extremely poorly and I will not return.I will also add that another party arrived after I did and they had outside drinks with them and they were not told to remove the drinks from the premises by the managers. In fact, the female manager went directly to the table multiple times and did not say anything to the them. Then another patron came in with an outside beverage, went up to the bar, stood right in front of the male manager who didn't say anything to that person either - until he noticed that I saw that he had blatantly ignored his own policy, however that patron was not scolded as I was.Might I add I am a different gender than the individual patron and the other party. So it appears that management is inconsistent with their own policies or it may be that they prefer specific genders over others. I will add that other parties who did drink were well received by the staff and had an enjoyable time.

I would not recommend this winery if you're wanting a group of friends and family to enjoy a nice outing or have a small get together for a special occasion. A group (12 people) of us went this winery to celebrate my sister's birthday. We brought our own food and utensils. When we arrived, we were greeted by the female owner who was extremely rude and hateful. She immediately told us they were going to be too busy today and that they needed their tables for their "guests". I'm not sure what she thought we were, but we were also paying guests. After that comment, we instantly felt uncomfortable and unwelcome! One of the members of our party brought their own drink in and was immediately scolded by the female owner on how they do not allow outside beverages and how they are trying to run a business. I do understand the point she was making, however she was completely hateful and rude. As the day went on, we noticed other parties bringing outside beverages in, but yet those other individuals were not scolded like the member of my party was. We tried to enjoy ourselves, but after the way we're talked to as soon as we arrived, it just ruined the mood. We won't be back!

Beautiful location with great wines and atmosphere. Super friendly owners. We went on a crispy Saturday in December and the inside area was toasty warm. Persimmons Winery is an oasis close to the metro area. Try the sweet white and the Norton.

We had a great time at this winery. Very chill place with a small-winery vibe. We had trouble deciding between the sweet red and white, so we got the both. Check out this little gem. Only 15 minutes from my Byrnes Mill home!

Excellent quaint winery with wonderful owners serving good wine. Small live music and small conversation areas rounded out a great experience!
