This Dollar General and the other Dollar general will walk around and stalk you just to see if you steal. Somebody gone really messed them up. Watching people who not stealing will get you your wig split (not by me) but by a person who don't play that. I definitely got my video on record everytime I go in there and a couple more people I team up with.

I regularly shop at this store. I spend a few hundred dollars a month in Dollar General but I know to watch the prices as they're being rung up because they don't ever all ring up correctly. Tonight I went in and bought 3 of the small cans of redbull. They are 3 for 6 and always are but they always ring up for 2.45 each and it doesn't take it off at the end. The cashier gets the manager who is a tall skinny dude with an afro. He acts like Im lying about the price but the price is always 3 for 6. It never changes. He checks comes back and takes 1 dollar off. Um basic math tells me you should take 1.35 off. 3x2.45=7.35. I point this out and he spews some nonsense rude as hell and walks away. So once again I overpaid for something that was clearly marked. This isn't my first encounter with this dude over stuff not ringing up correctly either. This dude is rude and has zero customer service skills. If the items would ring up correctly I would never have to say anything. I'm over it tho and I'm going to escalate this to corporate. I'm almost to the point of not shopping at any DG ever again. This is why DG is failing right now and getting sued. Get it together!

Usually a pleasant shopping experience but there is a cashier up there that is slow as molasses and always has such bad customer service skills. I recommend going two exits north to 140 St in Grandview until she is no longer at this location.

I bought a tracfone from them today. They were prompt and courteous about helping me. Clean and well stocked dollar general. Very organized as well.

Amazingly they have self check out. They only bad thing about it is, the worker stood there the entire time and watched me scan all my items lol. Bad judgment call on his behalf, needless to say I will not ever shop there again.

I was in line with two registers running. The one with the light on finished first. The other register still had a full cart to check out As I stepped to the counter, the night manager told me "Sorry, I have to sweep." And then walked away. I told him that was poor customer service and had to repeatedly request the store managers name and store number. This all occurred at 8:18p on a Friday evening during Christmas. While I understand stepping away to do other things, turning a customer away with your light on and nothing saying the register is closed is the wrong thing to do. And, telling a customer sweeping is more important than selling merchandise, big mistake. Young man that merchandise pays your wages.
