I had them look at my 2017 jeep renegade. I was having a nasty vibration during acceleration. I thought it may have been my cv shaft. They looked over my jeep only saw a small cut in the boot. They said my cv shaft was fine. They couldn't figure it out recommend another shop. Mike didnt charge me for them looking at my jeep. Which was amazing. We've had a very rough weekend, had to make a trip to MN for my mom. She has a brain aneurysm. After she had surgery we came back. On the way back a semi hauling an amazon trailer ran us off the road. That's when my jeep started having issues. The act of kindness was releaf for my husband and me after the sh!t hit the fan for us. THANKS MIKE!

I went to Jim & Alan's repair shop to get a whole new timing chain kit for my vehicle. When I received my vehicle back from them, not only was the problem I had initially asked them to fix still not fixed, but the quality of work done was poor. I went back to them, and to their credit, they responded well and said they wanted to make it right. They fixed some of their work, but when I received my vehicle back again, I noticed a part of my front fender was now bent from them working on it, the part I needed fixed was still not fixed, and a bolt was missing in my exhaust system. Not the high-quality work I'd expect when paying over a thousand dollars.
I believe this shop desires to do good work and has done so for many years. But if you're considering having some more serious work done on your vehicle, I'd encourage you to look elsewhere first before choosing here.
*Reply to the owner's response: I respectfully want to say your language around me, diagnosing from the internet is not true. As a past mechanic, I confirmed a stretched chain with my own eyes. Secondly, I made it clear that my problem was the rattle happening on cold start, and the front desk said they'd be happy to help me out with it. I'm saddened by your response to put the blame back on the customer. Again, this was my poor experience with the shop, and I presume you all still do quality work in other ways.

I’ve taken my car here a few times for issues I’ve had and I’ll continue to do so in the future! they’re reasonable friendly and won’t try and tell you there’s something wrong when there isn’t! thanks for the good honest work guys 🙂🙂

I can't recommend Jim and Alan's enough. We were on a road trip with our children driving through Missouri, and our alternator gave out (on the hottest of days). They squeezed us in and took care of us so we could get back on the road. Thank you, Mike and Alex!

Took my 2008 Ford Focus here for a leaking radiator hose. After the repair was complete, the air wasn’t bled from the line causing my car to overheat in the middle of rush hour traffic. Other than that they are solid mechanics, I’ve taken the car there several times and they were great.

Awesome and quick service. Best thing is he allowed me to vent about my frustrations regarding the car buying process which I really needed. He also knew just what paperwork and needed and about the process and could explain things to me.
