Lots of great items for everyone! Love the home items too, not just the craft items. I also get to use my teacher discount as a homeschooler for 10% extra off every time! My daughter loves the yarn. I love scrapbooking and organizing stuffs plus pens! And the adult coloring books!

Yesterday was perhaps the WORST experience I've had when visiting this store in Belton, Missouri (while visiting people from this town) ... as my spouse and I were there to purchase just a bit of thread and cloth! In addition to standing for at least five minutes while the "cashier" finished her "conversation" with another lady who was clearly done with her purchase (and with a line of people who were waiting to check out), I went back to the thread rack to make sure the color of thread was correct! I then returned to my spouse who then proceeded to check out with yet another cashier ... one who had been helping a man who wore a hat indicating he was a veteran ... one of my own era of Vietnam ... so he was probably age mid to late 60's! The "cashier" who had switched places with the one my spouse was then having our purchases "checked out by" was overheard by me as saying ... "Well SIR! If you're going to have an 'ATTITUDE' ... THEN ... " at which time I stepped over to that register (after which I'd heard much of their verbal exchange prior) ... and told her ... "Excuse me lady, but YOU were the one giving this CUSTOMER an "attitude" ... and since I heard most of what YOU and he said, I guess you've never heard the term 'customer service!' NOW ... if you simply CANNOT ... for reason of "corporate" or "store" policy do anything to help him ... then so be it ... THAT is the 'answer!' BUT ... to be as RUDE and CONDESCENDING to this veteran and elder of yours ... is simply UNCALLED FOR!" At that place the young woman identified herself PROUDLY as "the manager" to which I responded ... "All the WORSE then!" She then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to leave the store ... to which I replied, "Since I've broken no laws and have only pointed out your lack of awareness and customer service ... I will leave when my spouse and I are READY to leave ... and you need to do whatever you think you must! BUT ... rest assured that I WILL call "corporate" tomorrow ... and I need your name!" She then defiantly held up her name tag ... and I said thank you ... and soon departed the store! My spouse was a bit upset about my "intervention" but I am simply SICK AND TIRED (as an old "corporate hoss") of putting up with such impudence and RUDENESS ... not to mention the "dressing down of a veteran!" AND ... my response to my spouse was ... "UNTIL we begin standing up to this sort of NONSENSE and LACK OF COURTESY by these who "believe they are in charge ... and start to "call it out" ... then we will continue to "get more of the same!" PERHAPS I am living in a different world than I grew up in and had MY "business training" in, and I'm "out of place" and/or "outdated" regarding my views on "how to best serve the customer and have them continue to patronize my business" (as my own 24 year old son has my SAME "customer service credo" that I have taught him and does exceedingly well in his THIRD business) ... but after this experience my spouse, the veteran, the other customers, and I all ENDURED from this "manager" ... my only conclusion is that I'm living either in "West World" or some rendition of "clown world!" THIS NEEDS TO STOP and I hope "corporate" addresses this quickly and efficiently ... before they lose this customer base at this location also! Respectfully submitted! Doc

I love the Jo-Ann's in Belton. They are very helpful and always friendly. I recently made a trip to a different Jo Ann's in the city and it was awful. It made me very mindful and thankful for the Jo-Ann's we have in Belton.

I have been in Joann’s twice this month for fabric and both times had different associates help. Both times the price on the ticket was off by 8$, no biggie as they were able to fix it after waiting for another associate to verify. This takes forever but it was resolved. Then the app shows I could get a coupon for 20% off but when you click to redeem it required signing in and that process didn’t work. I showed the cashier what was happening ,hoping they would honor the coupon and they directed me to customer service instead. When I called customer service the first time they were closed (it was the weekend). Calling back I was not able to get through and find resolution. I will no longer use this store. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

The associates need to learn they're place, and the managers need to learn to take initiative with they're role as a higher up. I went in to speak to a manager about a job listing they had posted 3 days for that location and the associate I had asked to speak to a manager told me that she didn't know where he was and the assistant manager was standing right next to her wouldn't say anything or take initiative either, and then the manager walked around the corner realized he was needed and he promptly turned around and I seen him leave the store. This is actually the second time I have tried to speak to a manager at that location, it's extremely unprofessional and rather sad that management doesn't want to be responsible. No wonder there's job listings for that location.
