As a first time boat owner, this place is amazing. The first shop I had experiences with was awful. These guys are trustworthy, timely, and very reasonable. The communication was amazing and their expertise was impressive. There’s no other place in the KC metro I will take my boat besides Sportsman’s. Very great job.

Josh was amazing to work with while buying our first new Harris tritoon. He took the time to understand our boating needs and helped us find the right boat for our lifestyle. He was very responsive to our emails and calls and made sure we had all of our questions answered before purchasing. I can't recommend him enough!

The lower unit on my Mercury Optimax 150 froze. When I checked the oil, only a few ounces came out (see photo). Sportsman’s was the last to service it in December 2022 when they changed the oil and replaced the impeller. It appears they did not refill the lower unit with oil. There is no sign of an oil leak after running the boat many times since I refilled it. They have no explanation of where the oil went but claim they are not responsible. I even asked if a pressure test concluded there was no leak would that be an indication that they didn’t fill it with oil, but they said it couldn’t possibly be their fault. I have been a loyal annual customer since 2012, but they have now told me to take my business elsewhere. I recommend not doing business with their service department. If I find a leak, I will gladly update this review.

We purchased a new pontoon boat from Carl. This place was a great place to shop and ask questions. Even years after we purchased the boat I called to ask questions and Carl was very nice and happy to help me. He also remembered me which I found very nice considering how long ago we purchased our boat. If we ever buy another boat I will gladly drive back to Missouri just to purchase it from this dealership.

They truly want to make sure you're happy and 100% satisfied with the quality of work they do. Sportsman's Outfitter is the only place I'll take my boat when it needs servicing or when I want accessories installed.

Scott made me feel like family since I have owned a boat. His customer service skills are truly exemplary! I trust what he tells me and he always give it to me straight. I will not go anywhere else to buy or service my boats! The whole staff is like Scott!

This was a new adventure and new product launch for Lund called Veer X13. I started researching this boat in January when the boat was first introduced to the market. It was exactly what I had been looking for. I contacted both Veer and Sportsman’s Outfitters who was the dealership for the new product. Both answer back immediately with the information that I was seeking.I was contacted by Carl Johnson at Sportsman’s Outfitters and he explained to me that they had pre-ordered 5 new Veer X13 and I could put my order on one of them. Well that’s when the awesome process began. Sportsman’s Outfitters is located in Missouri and I was located in Texas. Some people might think this would be a hassle but not with Carl and his group at Sportsman’s Outfitters. Carl updated me by email and telephone each week on the progress of the build of the boat. Carl contacted me and said awesome news the boat arrived at the dealership. Carl work with my schedule to pickup the boat. Being 9 hours away we needed to make the delivery of the boat seamlessly as possible.Sportsman’s and Carl did exactly that. The boat was placed inside his showroom and was completely PDI ready for delivery. Carl went over every detail about the boat and answer every question that I had. I was never rushed through the whole inspection process of the boat and Carl was there by my side step for step. When it came time to do the paperwork Carl had it all done. To my surprise Carl had already completed all forms I needed to get the boat registered and titled in the State of Texas. Wow that was awesome. If you’re in the market to purchase a Veer X13 or any other boat these guys are top notch and don’t be afraid if you’re several states away. They will make the purchase fill like dealing with your next door neighbor. I think the name should read 5 Star Sportsman’s Outfitters.Living the DreamRichard Kettler

Horrible experience. I thought, by taking my boat to an authorized dealer, things would go great. I was wrong. My 2014. Harri's crown was running perfectly. But the gas gauge was unreliable. Scott in service informed me they could not get the part. After immediately finding It on Amazon from Harris. They agreed to put the part in. I delivered the boat to them full of gas, They returned it empty. After putting in another 68 gallons of fuel and putting it in the water. It would not start. I returned it to them. The next day, They said, there was nothing wrong with it. I asked them about the gas. They immediately accused me of calling them liars and they were done with me. I could see in their own parking lot where it drained out. I took it to a new mechanic. They found the problem in 30 seconds There were five mounting screws. And only three washers were installed. Causing the gas to leak out and water to leak in. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I missed an entire month of use.

Purchased a Lund 1875 crossover. I have never purchased from them before but I knew a lot of friends who had. It was a super expierence as they gave me advice that was accurate. Since then I’ve gone back to them to have Garmin nav and fishing sonars installed along with live view. Couldn’t be happier as their shop does solid work. That’s kinda hard to find anymore. Josh was our sales person who dutifully answered our many questions. Both before and after the sale. The service persons name is Joe and he’s great to work with as I had a lot of questions about the electronics packages. What can I say he gave it to us straight. Highly recommend as a trustworthy dealership.

We ordered a new Tritoon from Sportman’s. The process from start to finish was was great. Josh Smith our representative was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process! Highly recommend!
