“the store is actually phenomenal! The prices you cannot beat at most major big box stores. My only consideration would be there always seems to be a great wait time to check out. You have lines going halfway through the back of the store with only one or two lines open. I think they need to adjust some scheduling or other situations they may have going on within the store to be able to make check out a lot more feasible for their clients.”

“This Hy-Vee will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Last winter, my wife and I got stranded in Belton during a snowstorm while driving home to Colorado from visiting family in Arkansas. Our car couldn't make it out of the parking lot of the nearby Fairfield hotel, so we walked through the snow to this Hy-Vee, ordered a hot, delicious pizza, and spent a cozy afternoon eating by the window while watching the snow fall.

Before we left, we picked up a few snacks for the evening, some water... and three pregnancy tests. Because why not?

Later that evening, back at our hotel, those tests told us we were expecting our first child. Here we are now, just a couple weeks away from the birth of our daughter, and we love to think back to one of the happiest days of our lives, of which Hy-Vee was a part. Thank you for giving us a warm place to be on a day we'll never forget.”
