Found by the Pound is a 20k sq ft warehouse offering a mass quantity of retro and classic like-new adult apparel, all sold at $3 per pound. It is a true treasure hunting experience for any thrifter or reseller. Contrary to some impressions, it is not a junkyard. The environment is organized, with many items arranged in rainbow order on hanging racks, though it shares some qualities with a goodwill bins experience. Visitors can find piles of wrinkly, threadbare event shirts, but also a lot of magnificent finds, especially in womens’ skirts and workwear and blazer areas. It is ideal for those seeking cheap fabric for projects or a treasure hunt-like atmosphere with no pretense. During sales like the $20 a bag summer event, everyone is there for the same purpose. It is recommended to bring hand sanitizer and possibly gloves.
A lot of the items are pretty beat up and not in the best condition, which is understandable since they’re in bins and can get roughed up. It definitely takes some effort to dig through everything, but if you’re patient and take your time, you can find some decent pieces.
