Today I had to have a cleaning, 2 fillings and my 2 chipped front teeth fixed- the dental hygienist was amazing and so was the dentist! I am very apprehensive when it comes to going to the dentist and the staff at Aspen Dental made me feel very at ease and comfortable. I cannot say enough about how great everyone is there!!! They are one in a million in my book!!!! ❤️

I have mixed feelings about my time at Aspen Dental. Everyone on staff is SO friendly, however, I had some strange experiences. There were times where I had an appointment and waited an hour or longer to see the dentist. There was another time where they tried charging me for a treatment I had not agreed to (luckily I caught it and they removed it from my bill). The final straw for me was when I had sensitivity to cold in one of my teeth. I was treated by Dr. Adam two separate times to try and help the pain, and it continued to get worse, which led to needing a root canal from a specialist. I am not sure if that is a normal progression but I went from having very minor sensitivity to extreme throbbing pain after receiving treatment. That is when I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere and have not returned back. Maybe it is just my strange luck, or complicated dental history but Aspen Dental in Blue Springs was not a good fit for me. Ashley, the dental hygienist, is AMAZING and I never had a single complaint about how she treated my dental work/cleaning. All the dental assistants were equally amazing and so friendly. The one awesome pro to Aspen Dental is their hours/flexibility, which is why I stayed for so long. I am not saying they are unfit dentists, but you definitely need to keep an eye on what you are signing when they give you any sort of paperwork, and look over your bills well. Maybe consider getting a second opinion before agreeing to anything major. If you need basic dental work and a flexible schedule they will probably be a good fit, but I would not come back for anything else.

Tried to call Friday to get some pricing for a denture repair and was told no matter what I’d have to go in.Get there. They immediately tried to start doing dental work before even asking what I was there for even though I had already said 3 times I just need my denture repaired. I have a regular dentist. I just need to get through the holidays. They immediately just tell me my denture needs replaced which is fine but I again told them I have a dentist I’d like to go through I don’t want work done through you they continued to try to give me a work up and treatment plan to try to schedule me for another appointment. I I had to say that I do NOT want work done for them to finally release me. This is just a place trying to zap you for your money and steal patients. I went in for a denture repair consultation. Not a whole damn dentist appointment. They didn’t even tell me they didn’t take my insurance, everything they quoted me costed more than my denture I have currently AND all the the extractions! MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE

Run far away from this office. This entire organization is not in interest of what’s best for their patients but what they can do to make the most money possible. Once they secure funds from you - the customer service goes out the window along with your care being a priority. I had temporary crowns taken off on the day my crowns were supposed to have arrived from the lab. I hear the dentist talking two offices down about how the scans were not done correctly and need to be resubmitted. The dentist then comes in telling me they were delayed on shipping. They will lie to their patients to protect their brand at all costs. The office fails to check with your insurance prior to quoting you treatment even though they ask for this information up front & then come back asking for more money on treatment you THOUGHT you already paid for. I recommend going to a smaller, locally owned dentist who is in best interest for their patients and not seeing every person as a money bag.

So. I started invisalign here (motto) ! They didn't pay attention to my claim getting accidentally denied. Took them 2 months to tell me. Then I had to call to resubmit. They are literally not helping me at all. Saying I have to continue to wait until the claim gets through. I'm suppose to be done with invisalign and now I'm stuck at a stand still. They refuse to see me to finish because I have a balance when my insurance just gave them a payment. I will never recommend this place. They are just a money hungry corporation and this office specifically has issues losing doctors and staff constantly. ?

If I could give no stars I definitely would. Whatever you do...DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL IN BLUE SPRINGS, MO. Dr. Adam Hallam is the absolute worst dentist and now has instilled so much fear in me about going to a dentist. From the moment I got there all they tried to do was upsell me dentures. If he had read my chart he would have known I cam in with excruciating tooth pain. After the x-rays he asked me which tooth it was and I told him I was unsure. It was 1 or 2 teeth that were basically side by side and I couldn't tell which one was giving me pain. He didnt do any tests to see which tooth was causing the pain. He gave me 3 shots of Novocain and never even allowed time for it to begin to work and started pulling me tooth. I was screaming in pain, no nurse in the room with me, no bib on me, blood all over my blouse, and he never once tested to see if I was truly numb before he started pulling. Once I said I was not interested in dentures that day and just wanted to have the painful tooth removed he treated me completely different and was in some big hurry to get the procedure done. Well guess what, he pulled the wrong tooth and now I am still in pain. I have reached out to his location and to customer service escalation and NO ONE will even respond to me. This dentist should have his licensed pulled for what he did to me. I am utter shock that I was treated basically like an animal in the wild.

I would give zero stars if it allowed. I made an appointment online. Received a text with a link to click and confirmed said appointment online. Received a text the day before the appointment reminding of it. Show up at 4pm for my 4:15p appointment only to be told they cancelled it due to no verbal confirmation via phone. Which I wasn’t even aware of was a requirement considering I received a text to confirm it online. I work full time and have kids, so I don’t have every second to even answer the phone. I couldn’t even find when they called. They said they could get me in, but it would be a 45 minute wait. I made an appointment because I had other responsibilities after, so I did not take the offer. Spoke with customer service this morning. Again, a big joke. I would never recommend anyone even give this company at any location a chance, especially as a new patient. A simple appointment can’t be handled then how is anyone to trust the rest or the services provided can do so. I lost time at work which was money to provide for my family.

My regular dentist was on vacation and I needed urgent dental care. I had a tooth that was infected and needed to be pulled. I got a same day appt. After exam, the dentist agreed it needed to be removed. The assistant was not friendly and did not have any empathy for how bad I was hurting. They proceeded to numb the area. Dentist administered several injections and left the room. 20 to 30 minutes later he came back. He immediately jumped in and began to grab the tooth. With the first crack I was resisting as I could feel every thing! It was horrible. The pain shot down through my jaw and I was in tears and pushing back. I said no that I could feel it. He jabbed me at least 5 more places with the novocain and left the room. I was in so much pain. Assistant came in and told me I needed to take deep breaths. I was not having panic attack. I’ve had a tooth pulled before. It shouldn’t be excruciating pain. Dentist came back in about 10 minutes and said he had to get roots out. He began pulling on them and I felt every last yank and then he put another sharp instrument in there, sounded like a drill, and I came up out of the chair it hurt so bad.By this time he was gripping my jaw so hard that I have a bruise on my jaw and it is very swollen and painful to the touch…. It’s not where the tooth was located. It was from his grip.Little shop of horrors dentistry. THIS IS THE REASON PEOPLE FEAR THE DENTIST.Day 4 after procedure and the extraction site doesn’t hurt but my jaw is still so painful it’s hard to open my mouth. My regular dentist is back this week and he is going to look it over and see what is causing so much discomfort.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel like my experience with Ashley today was probably the best dentist visit I’ve ever had! She is so knowledgeable and explained everything before and during each step. She genuinely cares and it shows!

I dealt with Jailene recently and she made the experience so much easier. I have always had high anxiety dealing with dentist and the staff. She was quick and efficient and eased all my concerns. I know it's a stressful job at the front desk dealing with customers, but she helped make it painless. Unlike my dental work lol.

I am not a fan about going to the dentist but this was the best experience ever. The entire staff was so nice and friendly. Special shout-out to Ashley, who went above and beyond explaining as she worked. I felt so relaxed and comfortable but best thing, I loved the way my teeth felt so clean and polished. A+ to Ashley!
